I didn't stay at the hotel, but I did get a massage at the spa. The location is excellent: walking distance to the main street, near Republic Square and many cafes. Massage is above all praise. The Oliva Hotel is located in the heart of the city. The square and fountain are 3 minutes away. The hotel is renovated. The rooms are great. It's all clear. This is a Stalinist building with high ceilings.and big windows. I wish I could be at the hotel tomorrow. I consider this hotel to be one of the best. And the location is the best.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Yerevan – you feel at home! We stayed at this hotel for a week and fell in love with it! The location is ideal – within walking distance from Republic Square, Vernissage and the best restaurants. The rooms are very cozy, with a stylish design combining modern comfort and Armenian traditional elements. Special thanks for the orthopedic mattresses and the impeccable cleanliness. The staff is a real decoration of the hotel! They always greeted me with a smile, gave me tips on excursions (for example, where to go for the best gata), and helped me order a taxi. And the breakfasts are just a delight! Fresh lavash, homemade cheese, fruits from the regions of Armenia and fragrant coffee are a great start to the day. I really liked the small details: bottled water every day, fragrant tea in the lobby and the opportunity to book excursions directly at the reception. I recommend it to everyone who wants to feel the warmth of Armenian hospitality and live in the very center of events! We will definitely come back again.

On a previous trip, we stayed in a similar hotel on the 1st floor - it was perfectly quiet, but in this hotel it was as if all the windows were open.

I do not know where the hotel got so many positive reviews, honestly. I would like to choose a hotel based on reliable reviews, and not like this: you read - everything is fine, you stop by and you are completely disappointed. We got a room on the 3rd floor, the window overlooks the balcony of the next room. That is, the neighbors are constantly on the balcony, either smoking, eating, or making cupcakes, and we can all hear it. The window cannot be opened. There are no accessories in the room: no brush/paste kits, nothing. There is one large towel for 2 guests and two small ones. The pillows are very old, with lumps inside. I didn't like the number. The staff was neutral, we hardly talked, just greeted each other. The Internet works well. The big plus of the hotel is its location, perhaps everything.

We stayed at this hotel in early June. The location is a HUGE PLUS, for such a price it is a very decent room, everything is clean inside, the bed linen is clean, the air conditioner is old but it cools down in principle. The staff was friendly, we were like visiting relatives. I recommend it!!!

I stayed for one day between flights to rest, sleep and swim. I chose the hotel based on its location, because it was possible to walk, eat and exchange currency, without having to go anywhere, everything is within walking distance within a 10-minute walk. The second crucial point was the price - much cheaper than in hotels nearby and about the same as for hotels not in the center. Everything looked decent enough in the photos, so I decided that this was the perfect option. I regretted it. The only advantage was the location. I'll start with the most critical moment - the unbearable smell of old unwashed (no longer washable) plumbing from the bathroom, spreading to the entire room. Tap water has the same smell, so if you decide to swim there, the appropriate scent will remain on your body. The second is the room itself, all the furniture and appliances are old, the walls are dirty, and something creaked on the floor when she stepped on it. The door to the room has sagged, so there is a gap of 3-4 centimeters between it and the doorway (apparently for ventilation purposes). The bed linen is clean, but the sheet is so thin that you can see the pattern on the mattress, which is not very hygienic (I doubt that the mattress is changed for each guest). I don't want to use plumbing, it's cleaner at the airport. They left two combs and cotton swabs in my room. I haven't checked the air conditioner, but it's also very old and looks like it's never been cleaned. There's a crack in the window. The window overlooks the courtyard, where some kind of excavation has been dug and construction is underway. The window overlooks the terrace adjacent to the other room. When I checked in, I had a view of other people's underpants hanging out to dry after washing. When I opened the window to ventilate the room from the smell of sewage, a woman ran out of the next room onto the terrace and began to look out my window, and when she realized that she was looking into the next room, she announced: "Valera, imagine, there's a window in another room!". The curtains were dirty and tattered, and I touched them with care. The third. After I returned from a walk, it turned out that the electricity was not working in the hotel (!!), although the lights were on in the neighboring buildings. Due to this, I was unable to charge my mobile devices before the flight. Bathing in the shower (and also in the dark) I didn't either, because it's not known what kind of bacteria and microbes live there. If you are used to such conditions, great, this hotel is for you. To all those who do not like to live in a stable, I strongly advise you to choose another hotel, pay a little too much and do not spoil your vacation.

A set of hygiene products for everyone in the room. I changed three rooms in one day of my stay (one was with a broken air conditioner that blew cold, in the second I slept, heated the air conditioner in it, and I was asked to move into the third - designed for 4 people, with two rooms, but again with an air conditioner that does not heat). Of the advantages of the hotel, only the location.
