A great beach with snow-white sand and azure ocean. A lot of Maasai roam the beach. The first days seem very intrusive, but then you get involved in communicating with them. You know how easy it is to get rid of them. Coffee, shops, everything is within walking distance.

Nungwi beach is interesting at low tide, where you can see a lot of different wonderful wildlife. But swimming is probably not very convenient. We didn't swim there. We only went to the seaside after an excellent safari. The coolest beach for swimming is Kendwa. The best of the best.

The beach itself is great. White sand, the purest sea. It's nice to visit the sea and swim in the morning, but in the evening the whole beach is occupied by locals. They play football and other sports. It is very difficult to get to the sea, and it is impossible to walk along the shore in peace.
