GLASS BRIDGE IN GULONG CANYON (near GUANGZHOU) GUANGZHOU, GULONG CANYON. GLASS BRIDGE. A transparent road over a precipice. There's glass underfoot. There are 200-300 meters of air under the glass. The views are incredible. Mountains, gorges, greenery, waterfall. The final location is a platform in the form of a giant UFO located above a waterfall. Everyone behaves differently on the glass bridge, but they are absolutely sincere. There is no right way to cross the bridge…Some walk as if on a catwalk, others creep as if through a minefield, others crawl, others sit on all fours and philosophically stare into the abyss))) Look at the photo, how the father instills fearlessness in the baby) Don't think that the bridge is everything. The path to it is half the experience. The hiking trail winds through the thickets of the subtropical forest to unexpected viewing platforms, from which the gorge opens with one side, then another. There is a new angle at each turn, hence the stop for the photo)) The platforms hanging over the abyss are especially good. You stand on the very edge, the wind blows your hair, clouds above your head, mountains behind you in all their splendor. By the time you get to the glass bridge, you will already have a dozen photos. recommendations The bridge is located outside the city in 1.5-2 hours drive. How to get there: an organized tour is the easiest, they will pick you up from the hotel; a taxi is expensive, but comfortable. The best time, of course, is on weekdays. Avoid Chinese holidays. Buy tickets online using the WeChat app or through the website. Take cash yuan, cards are not accepted everywhere in remote places. They say that the bridge is closed in fog and rain. Check the forecast and find out in advance. Don't forget the windbreaker, it's blowing at altitude. If you're scared, don't look down, give yourself a minute. Hold on to the railing, walk along the edge (there's metal, not glass)) Look at the horizon, not at your feet. Not a single glass bridge in China has collapsed. While. Well, what can I wish for? Have a nice road, clear weather and an exciting story that you will be telling for many years. P.S. My expectations from visiting the glass bridges may have been close to those stated in the advertisement, and in many ways reflected my personal idea of extreme sports. In the end, everything went smoothly, without any feeling of fear, so the impressions turned out to be less vivid for me than I expected (( I give 4 stars. The adrenaline still managed to be caught, however, its amount was measured rather by a slight thrill from the beautiful views.

A pleasant, very peaceful park. It is very quiet, you can enjoy nature and meet a snake that hunts a frog for example )
