We booked a room in advance, but we were not checked in upon arrival. The staff explained this by saying that the lists were allegedly lost. This became a major problem as we had traveled a long way and were not prepared to stay outside at night.

You can hang out for this money. There's a cafe nearby. Parking in a secure gated community. If you agree in advance, they can heat up the sauna right there, wrap yourself in a towel and go to the room.
