Kostava. Merab Ivanovich Kostava (Georgian; May 26, 1939, Tbilisi - October 13, 1989, near the village of Boriti, Kharagauli district) — National hero of Georgia, dissident, musician and poet. One of the leaders of the movement for the separation of Georgia from the USSR in the late 1980s.
