We stayed at the Matryoshka Hotel. Overall, the hotel looks decent enough, the interior leaves a good first impression, and the large TV in the room has become a pleasant plus. However, the cleaning quality leaves much to be desired. Upon check-in, open tubes of shampoo and shower gel were found in the bathroom, left over from previous guests, which indicates that cleaning was not thorough enough. There was also water on the floor. We stayed in room 503. There was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room, giving the impression that people were smoking in the rooms. The room was ventilated almost all day — the smell became weaker, but did not completely disappear. In addition, there was an unpleasant smell of sewage in the bathroom, which also reduced the comfort of living. The hotel has good potential due to the appearance and equipment of the rooms, but the issues of cleanliness and elimination of unpleasant odors should be given more attention.

It's a great hotel. The location is very convenient, you can walk to the square in 10 minutes at a slow pace. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly. There is a grocery store on the 1st floor.

The hotel is New. 10 minutes walk from the square. It's remote for someone. And we liked everything Near the Arbat. It's clean and cozy. There is a laundry room. Dining room, gym.
