The view was good,interior was very pleasant and aesthetic,but really everyone was inexperienced,and couldn’t serve according to their prices.We ordered salads and bbq.Served very late,the caesar was made with simple mayonnaise,the Greek salad wasn’t made from fresh ingredients.Brought the bbq after around 1,5 hours,and it wouldn’t have been a problem if it wasn’t cold.We also asked for another portion of bread TWICE,they never brought it.For a restaurant that’s priced like those in city center,you expect fast service,food made with high end and fresh products.Not to mention that there was only one other table being served other than ours.

Хароший места. Ещо харашо видно и река и храм .очен красивый и естетичний местечка. Еслы не былы значит много красивих пейзажов не увидели.советую хотьябы рас быть там посидеть веранде и попить чай или кофе и наслаждаца красивими пейзажоми.

Great view to ancient temple of Garni. The personal was polite, but there is still place to work on. The cuisine was tasty, but there are dishes in menu, that were out. Probably will be better to make a reservation and preorder. Reservation is probably must, as the location is really great and popular.

I visited the Macrame restaurant, in fact, I very rarely write reviews, but this time I want to write a review: My family and I really liked the service and food, the staff is very friendly, the service is also very beautiful and very tasty. Like for the look) the service is disgusting, half of the menu is missing, and what is there takes an incredibly long time to carry. A good piece of fish was ruined, dry fried something in oil. Price / quality is generally silent. The black tea wasn't ruined, thanks already.

The idea is great - the restaurant is in an incredible place with an incredible view! And then the cons begin. The staff can't handle the flow of people, even though the waiters are running around like squirrels in a wheel, trying to get the service out. They brought us uncooked red fish, bodyaga instead of gin and tonic (although they later redid it), we couldn't make the cocktails on the menu, and the food reached the table cold. I really hope that the management will hire a competent manager, because the potential of the place is high!

It's a very cozy and atmospheric place. Everything is decorated with taste, attention to detail is felt. Quiet, clean, comfortable. The staff is polite and attentive. Great for a holiday in Garni, especially for those who appreciate tranquility and beauty. I didn't notice any drawbacks.

My husband and I came to Garni to see a pagan temple. The Macrame restaurant was spotted from afar. The view from the restaurant is gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the staff is very polite. I didn't find any disadvantages.

The compote and wine were delicious. The view is good. Everything. That's where the advantages end. The meat was overcooked and coals were served instead of meat. The staff doesn't want to take responsibility. The food tastes terrible. I haven't seen anything like this in Armenia yet.... The meat was not even cut, but split off. Disgusting. 2 stars just for the compote and the beautiful view. Upset, saddened....

We were walking by and the hostess called us to her place. There was an amazingly beautiful restaurant in the courtyard. But that's not the main point. The main thing is the view that opens from the balcony. He's the only one who wants to come here. The hostess treated us to fruits and gave us coffee. Thank you for your hospitality.

We arrived at this restaurant at 6 p.m., while we took a walk and ordered dishes, it was the 7th floor, at first one waiter came up to us and we couldn't order what we wanted from the dishes because we weren't available, in the end we ordered from what we have. Half an hour later, salad, juice and bread were brought to us, but there was no meat. We called another waiter, asked about the order, and it turns out that our order is not on the list at all, so we had to re-order it. There were 2 waiters for the entire restaurant, several banquets in the hall, there was a 90% landing and only 2 waiters. In the end, we sat for an hour and a half with salad and juice, we already had to leave, they asked for the bill, and they counted this meat for us and put it with them. I told them to remove it from the bill, and only count what was brought to us at the table, to which the man at the bar introduced himself as a cook and the manager was not at all there, at first I tried.to call someone to remove the dishes from the receipt, in the end, he said he didn't need any money, I was treating him. Of course, without a cash register, I put the money on the table and left. While we were waiting, I heard out of the corner of my ear how at the next table (banquet) some dishes were generally brought not from what the guests ordered, and it was already becoming clear that the service was simply disgusting. The view from the balcony is very beautiful, the wow effect is provided, but after we wanted to order food, our impression was completely ruined. I will never come to this institution again and I will not recommend it.

We were looking for a coffee place in Garni with a beautiful view. We found this restaurant. We read the reviews. People wrote about the long service, but we were just going to get coffee. What could possibly go wrong, right? We were offered a great table on the veranda overlooking the temple. But in half an hour, no one took the order. After enjoying the great view, we went to look for coffee elsewhere. In general, if you don't know at all what to do in Armenia (for example, it rains all day), be sure to come in — maybe you can even drink coffee in 1.5-2 hours.
