The other day, my wife and I decided to buy a new iPhone 17 Pro using the trade-in system (by handing over the old phone to the store as a partial payment). My wife had an iPhone 15 Pro, she was its first owner, the receipt and the original box were preserved. We planned to buy a new phone with 100% payment, without applying for a loan. The problems started when we asked about transferring data from the old phone to the new one. The store told us that we would not be able to carry out the transfer ourselves, since a preliminary system update is required on the new device. According to them, the self-transfer will take 4 hours due to weak Wi-Fi. We were surprised: How can there be a weak Internet connection in a store that sells mobile phones (!)? We were offered help at a service center located in the basement of the same building for 200,000 soums (supposedly there are no Wi-Fi speed limits). The Internet speed is limited in the store, but not in the basement!!! In addition, we were warned that the final evaluation price of our old phone may be reduced, as it may have a "special program" installed on it that hides the flaws (!!!). We were also surprised by this. But then something even stranger happened. We were informed that it was necessary to "clean" our old phone for verification to make sure that it was not bought on credit. How exactly? It turns out that you just need to transfer all the files and programs from our phone to their device! That is, we had to voluntarily transfer the data of bank cards, correspondence in social networks and passwords to the database to someone unknown. At the same time, they did not explain to us what these "special programs" are and how exactly they can hide information. Conclusions: Thus, we were required to provide full access to the phone (including personal information and bank card data) under the pretext of an incomprehensible and, in fact, illegal verification procedure. This is a direct reason for contacting law enforcement agencies. When we requested official information about the legal entity serving this outlet, we were refused to provide basic details. We were not informed of the director's full name, the organizational and legal form of ownership, or other registration data, although this information is required by law to be posted in a prominent place (in the "corner of the consumer"). Bottom line: this scheme is aimed at artificially lowering the price of the purchased device and gaining illegal access to customers' personal data. I recommend that anyone who has previously used the services of this salon analyze their past transactions and pay attention to such suspicious moments.

In fact, we received a set of system errors.: • we ordered devices with an American keyboard, but in the end it turned out to be Arabic; • the adapters were first announced that they were free, then suddenly became paid; • managers cannot answer which power supply is included in the package — 35W Compact or regular; • instead of the necessary plug-in, they sold two adapters that do not solve the problem; • the laptops were booked in advance, but when the person arrived, it turned out that the reservation had not been moved and they offered to "wait later". Lack of knowledge about the product, responsibility and basic organization of processes. Such a service is unacceptable for equipment of this level.

Okay, maybe there really wasn't any way, and at first they thought they could replace it anyway. I came to pick up a refurbished laptop. They give me a laptop with such defects on the screen that I have to be blind not to see them. In my opinion, even the giver avoided my gaze. They took it back to fix it. In the end, defective stripes are barely visible on the white background of the screen anyway, and True Tone does not work. We should at least talk about the latter right away.
