We visited Limar cafe yesterday and were very satisfied! The menu is very diverse, we left the choice on the national one, we didn't regret it! One of the dishes is hominy cheese, they ordered beans, fried smoked meat, and I recommend everyone to try pickles! The wine is excellent. The children ate European cuisine and were very satisfied! The location of the cafe is very convenient to take a break from exploring the sights of Mount Athos.

I went with my husband today. Overall, the food is not bad, and the service is fast. But this is the first time I've come across a missing receipt or an order list written on a piece of paper. They just came up to us and said that's enough for you. But even taking into account the tip of 10%, we were charged more than 350 rubles. They gave it away, but it's very unpleasant. We just arrived, the 3rd day in Athos. Everything would be fine everywhere, but when they brazenly charge money for nothing, that's not nice at all. We won't go there anymore. Be vigilant-ask for the receipt.

A boat with an egg is something, the dough is good, but the cheese is hardly cheese, it looks like plasticine :)) The pilaf is white, amazing, there is a lot of cream in the pasta, the shakhlama is generally not bad, the chakhokhbili will also go. We had lunch with a friend at this cafe on May 14th. There were two more tables with us at the same time. We ordered soup, chakhokhbili, and a friend ordered dolma. The food was waiting for about 40 minutes. I'm fine, but my friend's dolma was warmed up, and one of the 5 pieces in the serving was getting cold, which she didn't eat. They asked to exclude this one thing from the bill, which was naturally ignored. We excluded them ourselves. The waitress replied to the complaint that they had a large order and they served it in the first place. But that's not our problem. If you bring a heated dolma after 40 minutes, then take the trouble to warm it up at least qualitatively.

We had lunch at the cafe for the second time. And a complete disappointment from the place. I don't understand why there are so many good reviews. The wait for an order is long, despite the fact that it is not the season and the cafe is empty. The waitress is not friendly, she does a favor when she takes an order. The food is very mediocre. They brought an ice-cream achapa, really - there's ice inside. Mojito - with dried lemon and blackened mint leaves. Homemade red wine is very cold, until your teeth ache. the shish kebab is fried well, but the meat tastes of a stale product.

I ordered carbonara and olivier. The carbonara was just heated on the grill, it's not even carbonara, it's just pasta with bacon. I didn't like it. Then a situation happened to me, which many people describe here. They brought olivier, and in it there are only potatoes, moocs and peas, which, by the way, costs more than 400 rubles. I decided to look at the salad composition on the menu just in case - there should be ham and eggs! This is outrageous, none of this happened! We went up to the waiter and told her about it, but she didn't even come to see if it was true, she just sat on a chair and said that it couldn't be, everything was there. I was very unhappy, do not go to this place! Plus, when we first arrived, the waiter said that some items were not available, which is normal, of course, but! The reason is that their lights were turned off (apparently somewhere in the kitchen, because then there was a light in the hall) However, then the lights went off in the hall, and we ate with flashlights. I don't know if this is a normal practice in Abkhazia, but if you know that there are problems in a cafe, why open it on this day?

At the same time, they waited a very long time. The meat is all veined, impossible to eat. They left everything, they didn't even eat. At first, we waited a long time for the waiter to come up, a guy came up, started asking about the composition of the dish (there were children with us), he couldn't answer, another waitress came. She wasn't very willing to answer our questions, as if she was doing us a favor. As a result, we waited for 25 minutes, which we were warned about right away, the waiters brought us someone else's food several times (although the landing was far from complete, and the reason for the food was unclear). Later, our food was brought to us and placed simply on the edge of the table, without saying what kind of dish it was. There are no special questions about food, only an island, especially for children, 3.5-4 per meal can be set. They brought the bill on paper, we paid, but they didn't bring us the change. We already asked for change out of principle, since money was paid for the service, and we didn't want to leave a ruble on top for such an attitude, just out of principle. When I asked the waitress, where's the change? She asked me with an extremely dismissive look: 40 rubles? They brought me the change in the smallest coins. Food 3.5-4 Service 0 Staff 0 I do not recommend spoiling the experience of visiting New Athos with this "restaurant"

But, the waiter girls warned about this, that they work in the off-season while there are visitors, it is clear that we were a little late. I highly recommend the cafe.

I will never come here a second time precisely because of the staff, you can't behave like that, in a normal institution they had to offer a compromise solution, here they accused me that we ate half a pizza and then they said that the dough was raw, but how should I determine without breaking off a piece. Tourists, sing and dance away from the holy places. The kitchen is good, but the noise level is terrible. I hope that the city administration will take appropriate decisions and measures to limit noise levels at least in such tourist areas. You need to respect others and remember the place where you decided to hide.

A wonderful cafe. We've been going to this place on vacation for several years now. The service is courteous, the waiters are running around. I think it's the manager's doing. We ordered khachapuri boats. The cheese is not suluguni at all, it is rubbery, dry, the dough is dull, gray in color, they did not put butter, it is impossible to dip it into such a filling. It's a shame to cook khachapuri of such quality in Abkhazia. We didn't finish eating. It's a shame, I don't recommend ordering khachapuri here. The rest of the dishes that were ordered are acceptable. I really liked ajapsandal. There are also dogs walking in the cafe, which no one drives away, they beg right at the table.
