I chose Lavender for my 4th visit to Gagra. A familiar area near the Market, good reviews, attractive price for a Standard double with two separate beds. We found ourselves in a unique situation - it was just the two of us at the hotel. The only guests, the season is a little late this year. Nice room with a spacious balcony, there is a clothes dryer. Shampoo and hair balm in the shower. Fluffy white towels, comfortable mattress, high-quality bed linen. Wet cleaning of the room was done every other day. I would like to mention a well-maintained spacious courtyard, lots of flowers, and a gazebo. It is clear that the owners take care of this place and put a lot of effort and soul into it. For breakfast, you can choose scrambled eggs, pancakes with meat or cottage cheese, and cheesecakes the day before. It was very nice to receive the freshest pastries - strudel, cupcakes, cookies. Instant coffee, but I always carry my own with me everywhere, I brew it in a mug. There is a microwave in the cafe, you can heat your food. Washing is 100 ₽, iron is free. As a cat lover, it was incredibly wonderful for me to get to know Cleopatra the cat, a very businesslike and sociable fluffy lady. The hostess Svetlana was away, but she promptly answered all questions in the messenger and kindly arranged a group transfer from the hotel to the airport for 700 rubles/person. I would like to thank Natalia, the administrator, for her care, and Narine, the cook, for the delicious breakfasts. And also Anatoly, who met us late at night and checked us into the room. The Wi-Fi was stable. We were told a shortcut to the Market. I went through the old addresses :) "Tent", "Mahito", visited and new - White Fig, Pilaf Center, Pho Bǒ. Vietnamese cuisine is my old love (2 years of living in Nha Trang), the establishment is located in a new shopping center opposite the Market. I can say - the perfect quality of the dishes, all the nuances are observed. It's nice to see how the service is developing, and the embankment, which was renovated after the storm in 2024, was pleased. The sea is clean, I did not swim, the water is cool. For a smoky hookah, I recommend going to Mahito (Staraya Gagra), the cost is 1,500. And the wonderful hookah master Batyr, the Tent establishment (next to the Ferris Wheel on the embankment), the cost is 1800 rubles. I bought smoked mutton and smoked mackerel at the Market. Delicious cheeses, excellent draft Sukhumi beer. We took a minibus from the border of Psou to the city, 200 rubles. I recommend Abaatu to visit Gagra - an ancient Temple, there is also a hotel and a restaurant. An observation deck, a colonnade, a seaside Park and an abandoned cable car. Important: bring cash with you. The MIR card is accepted in supermarkets.

TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, electric kettle, tea utensils, dryer on the balcony, table and two chairs. I would also like to mention the presence of a mosquito door to the balcony, which closes tightly with magnets - just an amazing thing! The air conditioner was practically not used, the balcony was opened, the mosquito door was closed - not a single mosquito crossed the border of our room. Fresh air, coolness. Very convenient. I also liked that the water pressure in the shower is excellent. We changed towels at our request and once there was a change of linen. A small wet cleaning (the floor was cleaned with a mop every day). That was enough for us. We had half board: breakfasts and dinners were included in the price. Marina cooks deliciously: you can choose for breakfast, for dinner - she decides for herself what the guests will eat. The portions are large, and fruits and vegetables or watermelon are mandatory for breakfast, and a salad for dinner. The guest house itself is a quiet, peaceful, pretty place. The only negative is that the hostess is not very friendly: she greeted me every other time. Perhaps because we didn't take advantage of their excursions. We went and went wherever we wanted. To the middle observation deck on foot, to Gagripsh and New Athos by minibuses/ buses. I used the washing machine twice (1 run - 100 rubles, if you need powder, then 150 rubles). There are basins in the same place - take them, take them, hang them up and return them. Location: 5 minutes maximum to the beach. There are several ways to different beaches. There's a market nearby (the customer orientation is below the baseboard - I don't recall hearing customers vilified like that anywhere else. They were just passing by and witnessed the sellers chasing the customer away with obscene language. Some answer questions rudely). Canteens, shops, a shopping mall, and a dolphinarium are all relatively nearby. Everything was thought out to the smallest detail, and we felt really at home, only even more comfortable. I would especially like to thank chef Narine! Every day, delicious, homely, hearty food was waiting for us, cooked with all our hearts. Everything was simple, delicious and homely, warm and caring! A special delight is the excursion to the Aatsyn gorge, which the hostess Svetlana helped us get to. It was one of the most exciting experiences for the two of us! The route turned out to be very interesting and beautiful: waterfalls, mountain rivers, ancient houses and stunning nature. Everything was organized at the highest level — convenient transportation, attentive guide, comfortable time for walks and photos. It felt like the tour was created especially for us: calmly, without haste, with the opportunity to experience every place. Lavender has become an ideal place for us to relax together — quiet, clean, with a soul and care. We had a real rest, gained strength and brought back a lot of warm memories. We will definitely come back here again and we will be happy to recommend this guest house to anyone who is looking for coziness and comfort in Gagra!

It is located a little away from noisy establishments, although, of course, there are still some echoes. The hotel itself was generally quiet. Yes, there is no buffet, but the food is delicious and satisfying. The territory of the hotel is closed, the entrance is with a key, which prevents unauthorized access.

My husband and I are over 55+ and this hotel is just for us: quiet, cozy, peaceful!The sea is close,I walked with sore joints in 10 minutes, the market,shops,canteens are all close in 15 minutes.we even walked to the center, it's very beautiful there, the Ferris wheel, children's attractions and much more, well, back by taxi 250r.(it was city day), so 200r. This year, the room already had a mosquito net on the balcony door, cleaning every other day, the staff is responsive, solves all problems, friendly, all wishes are taken into account.There are few people on the beach, there are sun beds (300 rubles for the whole day)umbrellas, upholstered chairs are also available for a fee, a changing booth, and cafes. The beach is clean, if there is a small storm, then the garbage is removed immediately (sticks, branches, etc.) In general, this is a vacation for us who like silence, not parties ... although parties are in the center! This year we will go in early September! In October, the weather was gorgeous, the sea was calm, clear, there was no rain, and there was no intense heat!

According to the power code. Narine cooks very tasty, the portions are large, you won't stay hungry for sure. There is a menu, and you can order something for an additional fee. We didn't order, we had more than enough. Regarding fruits, they almost always gave watermelon, I didn't even have to buy it. Watermelons are ripe and delicious. There were peaches and nectarines. For breakfast, you can choose a dish from the provided menu, there are 5 options, I think that's enough. It's the same with dinner. It's a 10-minute walk to the sea. We went with the kids, no problem. On the way back you admire the mountain. The market and the Europa shopping center are 12-15 minutes away. It is better to arrange a transfer with Svetlana when booking, everything is organized. Guided tours can also be booked on site. They take it right at the gate. The hotel is new, the rooms are beautifully decorated, the furniture is new, the plumbing is new, still with stickers, the bathroom has a heated floor (!), There are several clothes dryers on each floor. There is a washing machine, and a kitchen for self-cooking and eating. In the future, they plan to make a dining room. Wi-Fi is available, it really works better in the corridor than in the room, but this is not a problem, there are tables for relaxing and eating in the corridor. From the hotel you can walk to novaya Gagra on foot, 7 minutes to the sea slowly, cafes nearby. We were at Mikhalych's (poisoned) and in Apatsk.

Pros: Good reception from the hosts. Good location, close to the beach and the center on the one hand, quiet in the room. Cons: we opened the balcony- mosquitoes flew in, biting all night. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are scheduled on the days of the week. For example, on Friday morning for breakfast: sausage cones, bread and butter, a piece of cheese, gingerbread, tea and jam. I remember this only in the USSR.

We had a rest in early March 2023. I liked everything very much. Clean, cozy. The weather was cool, but the room was very warm. Friendly and friendly hosts. The hotel is not bad, because it has not been killed yet, but the view from the windows is extremely depressing, as is the location of the hotel itself. The outskirts, garbage dumps, abandoned construction sites, absolutely everything around, the lack of any infrastructure, all this is depressing, we only came to spend the night-we spent the rest of the time in the mountains and excursions with a personal guide. I won't come here again. There is absolutely nothing to do starting at 15 o'clock, since everything is closed around except for one grocery store. The hostess is a bit harsh, we preferred not to cross paths with her.

I do not recommend this "hotel" to anyone. The location is terrible (there is a wasteland and a garbage dump all around), dirt and mosquitoes in the rooms, only semi-finished products from the microwave for breakfast. And the hostess Svetlana is just the apotheosis of market hubris!
