Our room was located in a two-story building on the ground floor. The area was small and with a low ceiling, giving the impression of a burrow. There was no balcony, but a part of the garden in front of the room was fenced off with a hedge. A welcome drink and a plate of fruit are offered upon arrival. The room has a capsule coffee maker and 4 capsules daily, very nice. The breakfasts are great! Even 4 types of milk: regular, almond, oatmeal and low-fat. The beach is protected from strong waves by a natural barrier - a few meters from the shore there is a small island with a stone ridge. There are supermarkets and currency exchanges near the hotel. The shopping center is about 20 minutes walk away.

We stayed at La Vida Samui, a very pleasant and stylish hotel right by Chaweng Beach. The territory is small, but cozy and well maintained, a nice pool and a beautiful area by the sea. I especially liked the atmosphere — calm, modern and without too much fuss. The rooms are clean, fresh, with good air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The breakfasts are decent, the staff is polite and tries to help. Conveniently, there are cafes, massages and shops nearby — there is a place to walk in the evening. On the downside, Chaweng can be noisy in the evenings because of the music and traffic near the street, especially if the room is closer to the road. But for those who like an active area and want to be close to the infrastructure, the place is great. Overall, La Vida Samui left a very good impression: a beautiful modern hotel with a good location and a pleasant atmosphere for a holiday in Koh Samui.
