We have already been to this cozy hotel 4 times, and we feel at home there during our vacation. The hospitable host, caring receptionist, everything is always tidy and tidy. It's 2 minutes to the sea. 😍 We love a calm, measured vacation. If you need parties, then go to Gagra. Every year we arrive, we rent a car at the border of the PSOU. We drive from Tsandripsh every day wherever we want to go to all the interesting locations.

The first Hilton in the area or abroad for those who have not reached Turkey :) "Coral" was chosen in the Bank of burning tours – I liked the description, location and cost. We didn't regret it at all – the four of us (two adults and two children) lived in a new building on the fourth floor. The hotel (or rather, the guest house) was distinguished by its recent renovation and new rooms, towering over the private sector (from the balcony you could observe all the "amenities" of such a stay). In Coral, everything inside is like in ordinary threes in a real foreign country. Air conditioning, two TVs, a mini fridge, a bed, a sofa and other cabinets, chairs. The room, of course, is not exactly a two-room room, but rather a large room separated by a partition, without an interior door. On the balcony, with a wonderful view of the sea and beautiful sunsets, a couple of wicker chairs (or at least plastic ones) were just asking for company at the table. Yes, there is a railway nearby, the Moscow–Sukhum passenger train passes by every day at 7.30 am, but it's a lot of fun (for both adults and children) to wave to the driver and passengers from the balcony – the driver honks in response, passengers also wave from the window. Anyway, at this time it's time to get ready for the dining room (open from 8.00) and the beach, so this "alarm clock" was very useful. In the evening (and for quite a long time) dogs bark, cats scream (the private sector is all around). The center of the local "club" life is the cafe "Legend" on Oktyabrskaya St. – and the echoes of the local fun can also be heard for quite a long time. For food and drinks, there are many small shops nearby, pavilions with a standard set (from the local – always fresh pita bread, cheeses and ice cream in a cup of 30 rubles each), kebabs from residents living their lives (they did not dare to try it), wines, cognac and chacha in plastic bottles are offered almost everywhere. Centrally and without fear, all this fruit and vegetable variety can be tasted and purchased nearby in the wine cellar or at a tasting during the tour. The local beer (100 rubles each) is excellent – Sukhum (light and dark), Abkhazian, Gudauta, Pitsunda. By the way, locals, as is often the case, prefer imported food. Next to the exit from the Coral, fresh pies with meat, potatoes, and peaches are delivered at 9:00 for 100 rubles. (You will find out by the inscription "we trade in the morning and how long"). We had breakfast in the dining room – oatmeal porridge, cheesecakes, fried eggs, sausages, morning khinkali, lunch and dinner either at home, or in the "Veranda" on the beach, or in the same dining room – chicken, cutlets, beef goulash, solyanka, kharcho, etc. Juice from tangerines and feijoa – do not take it, there is a lot of water in it and it seems that the water is just raw, which is not good for the stomach. There was a blackout almost every day, but it was short-lived, for 15-20 minutes. Once this trouble caught us in the evening downstairs, where the kitchen and tables are, so candles were immediately lit, and someone from the staff (what if it was the "friendly owner" they write about in the reviews?) He picked up a guitar and began to entertain the audience with a performance by Viktor Tsoi. This turned out to be an impromptu evening of live music. As for the inhospitality of the Marina hotel administrator, which is so often mentioned in reviews, evaluate her volume of round–the-clock work, including receiving and accommodating guests arriving day and night, maintaining everything in working order in two buildings, selling excursions, answering the phone, etc. Pay attention to the first three digits of her number, too, a lot will become clear. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly and caught even in the dining room. For mobility, we bought an electronic SIM card with minimal gigabytes on the A-Mobile website, which was enough for all ten days. On transport – if you want conversations and extreme events, you can negotiate with taxi drivers on the main Oktyabrskaya street, if you do not want to bargain and keep the driver silent like a partisan, then install the Red Taxi application (an analog of the local Yandex taxi). By the way, a transfer to the airport in Sochi can take 4-5 thousand, or you can take a local taxi to the Psou checkpoint, walk across the border with your belongings, and then call a Russian one. It will be three times cheaper. On the first day, the sea was pleased with the cleanliness and temperature. Not to say that the water was very comfortable, but rather cool and warmed up only by 11 o'clock. On some days, after a night rain, the water was cloudy, stormy, and you could only sit on the shore or swim farther away. The waves were so strong one day that they overtook all the sunbathers and they gradually retreated further and further, until finally they completely dispersed. In Pitsunda, of course, the sea is calmer and more transparent, and the beach is cultivated. Here, the beach is wild, pebbly, with trees, branches, and all sorts of debris (including sunken corals) washed ashore. It is cleaned only by vacationers, and even then not everyone took out the bottles. Containers are far away, there are no bins, etc. on the beach. You can rent a sunbed for the whole day or a sunbed (400-500 rubles per hour). Barkers are annoying with their obsession, with jet skis, ducks and boats. But it's still worth a ride on such a boat – to swim in the open sea, look from the water at Stalin's dacha "Cold River" and take pictures on the White Rocks (a two-hour trip from 1 to 2 thousand per person, depending on the time and the vessel, children are free up to 6 years old, some even up to 10). On the way to the sea, grandma sells everything necessary for swimming – circles, mattresses, inflatable pillows, corals, umbrellas, etc. and all this is much cheaper than on the World Bank. So you don't have to worry if the circle blows away and the coral is washed away by a wave. We took a folding beach tent with us – top! It's much more convenient than bothering with an umbrella. A tour without meals on a budget cost about the same as an all-inclusive vacation in Turkey. But we got to know a new place for ourselves and, I must say, it made a great impression! We took minibus excursions to Lake Ritsa, New Athos, Gagra. Do not ignore a visit to the New Athos Cave, even if you cannot immediately buy tickets for the near future. This is one of the largest caves and the tour lasts 1.5 hours. I won't tell you, it's better to see it once. You can find tours on the Internet, and on the spot – there are many offers. An old motor ship Sukhum departs from the coast every day at 8.30 am and goes to Pitsunda. Scenic views, dolphins, a stop at Stalin's and Gorbachev's dacha, and parking in Pitsunda. I will say separately about the "fishing" on the Bzyb River – no one caught any of the promised trout in this cold and swift river, but one of the participants caught a "squirrel" right in the morning, then fell straight into the icy water. In general, in fact, this is alcohol poisoning – the table was set immediately upon arrival, and then after the tired and disappointed fishermen returned from the river. And then things got better – the wine, the chacha, the appropriate conversations. Trout also appeared on the table, perfectly cooked both in the form of fish soup and in the form of a separate fish. It was scary to go there and back, because the driver drove 120 and drove into the oncoming lane. However, on the way back, the songs of well-rested Belarusians brightened up the road. There is nothing remarkable in the vicinity of the guest house except the sea and the railway, except that if you walk along Pushkin Street, you can reach the Khashupsa River, the monument to fallen soldiers (there is also a modest playground), and then the grocery market (it is not open all day, but there are plenty of fruit vendors next to it). There is also a pharmacy, shops and even something like a supermarket. Very tasty Abkhazian watermelons at 50 p. kg. The rest of the fruits are mostly imported. We took a taxi to Stalin's dacha, the Cold River. A mountain serpentine leads there, the road is surrounded by huge trees, everything is surrounded by greenery, and it takes your breath away. You can join the tour, you can walk around the rooms on your own. On the way back, we got off at the Tsandrypsha Basilica, a local landmark, the first Christian church built for Abkhazians who converted to Christianity in the sixth century by order of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I (see photo). There's a real cemetery around, so the taxi driver looked at us with some surprise. Overall, I liked everything. We have not encountered any of the troubles that are being reported about Abkhazia. Maybe because Tsandripsh, with a population of 5,000, is an even larger province compared to Gagra, Pitsunda and Sukhum. People of all nationalities were friendly, welcoming and welcoming. The rest turned out to be high-quality and memorable, it's just a pity that it was short. If we have the opportunity, we will come again, because there are so many more picturesque places, original traditions and friendly people in this "land of the soul".

I will leave a positive review about my stay at the hotel in Tsandripsha. Very convenient location — the sea is only a few minutes away on foot, you can easily plan a swim in the morning or evening walks by the water. There is a railway running under the windows, but trains rarely run here and do not cause any particular discomfort, they certainly did not interfere with sleep. The hotel has a large enclosed parking lot, which is very convenient for those who travel by car — no need to worry about cars. The hotel itself has a dining room: prices are not the lowest, plus they only accept cash, but they are always nearby and you can have a quick snack without wasting time looking for a cafe. There are tour desks near the hotel, as well as a cozy street with many souvenir shops and small shops. You can also buy gifts and some necessities. Overall, the hotel made a great impression — everything is thought out for a comfortable stay, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant. I recommend it!
