A magnificent complex that combines elements of Thai and Chinese styles. I would say Chinese (for a layman) is even more. Just look at these gazebos, the interior of the temple, and the abundance of gold. Stunningly beautiful, yet not pretentious and completely justified. There are ducks swimming in the lake, lots and lots of fish -) A very impressive statue of the goddess Guan Yin - please note, not the Buddha - is a Chinese 12-handed goddess riding a dragon. Bright, beautiful and at the same time - calm, peaceful. If you are in Koh Samui, I would strongly recommend visiting this amazing place.
