The building was built in 1975 under the leadership of Srila Prabhupada. He dreamed of building a structure of unprecedented beauty on the land of Vraja, in which everyone could see the brothers Krishna and Balarama, worship them, and chant the holy names. The temple complex dedicated to Krishna and Balarama is actually not one, but many religious sites. In the center of the site is the actual temple with the most beautiful murtis of Lord Krishna and his brother Balarama. The temple is unique in that kirtans glorifying God are sung here around the clock. Here you can meditate, chant the holy names and, of course, dance. The holy place is decorated with religious paintings, images of Krishna in different periods of his life in Vrindavan and Mathura. An incredible place!
