Amazing, must visit place! Located near Yerevan, its unique temple with antique architecture. Before entering you can buy Armenian souvenirs and sweets. Not only temple, but also its territory is incredible. There are mulberry garden with unbelievable views on Garni gorge. Also, there are many restaurants right on the edge of this gorge, which I strongly recommend to visit, it’s unforgettable experience!

Garni Temple is one of the most impressive historical sites in Armenia. Built in the 1st century AD, it stands proudly on a cliff overlooking the Azat River Gorge. The temple’s classical Greek architecture and stunning mountain views make it a must-see destination. It’s especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset, when the light highlights the columns and surrounding nature. The site is well-maintained, with small shops and cafes nearby. Visiting Garni feels like stepping back in time while enjoying Armenia’s natural beauty. It’s perfect for history lovers, photographers, and anyone seeking peace and inspiration.

It was nice calm place, with greek architecture and nice views, easy and cheap shops available in the village itself, transportation was not a problem aswell, very cheap and comfortable roads. Not far from Yerevan city.
