The historical building that I came across by chance while walking around the castle arouses curiosity with every detail. It is not unusual for the structure to have adventures of becoming a church and a mosque, to undergo a very large restoration (visuals of its old and new state are available inside), to have many glass floors in the physical area and to exhibit historical artifacts in its contents. If I say that one of the highest quality restoration works of the country has been done after my experience of many historical buildings, I would not be exaggerating. I recommend visiting the historical building, which is still open for worship as a mosque

It is an unusual and atmospheric landmark with a rich and complex history. The minaret is located in the heart of Kaleici, at the intersection of narrow streets. There are many cafes, souvenir shops and other attractions nearby. It is not impressive in scale, but it fascinates with its history and unusual shape. The place is a must-visit for those who are interested in Antalya's architecture and past.

Kesik Minare is an interesting place in the heart of Antalya's old town, in the Kaleichi district. It looks like an ordinary tower, but if you dig deeper, it has a rich history. First there was a Roman temple, then a Byzantine church, later a mosque. And after a fire in the 19th century, the minaret remained "cut off" — hence the name. Now everything has been restored, the minaret has been restored, and you can see how the building looked in different eras. Some say that the restoration has "smoothed out" the spirit of antiquity a little, but still the place is impressive. It is especially interesting that under the glass floor you can see the remains of an ancient foundation. Admission is free, there is a mosque, souvenir shops, cafes nearby — it is convenient to combine with a walk along Kaleichi. If you want to experience the history of Antalya, take a look. It's better with a guided tour, but you can also see a lot on your own. A great place to take photos and reflect on how things change over time.
