My husband and I came from Almaty, my daughter advised me to go to the Kausar chain of establishments, she came to Shymkent earlier too. We ordered baursaks, flatbread with onions, Tom yam, lamb sorghum, vitamin salad, minced meat kebab, compote and tea. Everything was fresh, very tasty and I was pleased with the high-level service. Also the interior and cleanliness. I highly recommend it. It's a pity that we don't have Kausars in Almaty.

The Kausar branch is located on Republic Avenue 40/1, which is frustrating. There are usually few visitors here, but it takes so long to cook, for 30 minutes. Even drinks, if you ask for a glass of water, they will bring you a dish before you drink it. And often there is something missing from the menu or one thing is in the picture, but they bring something completely different (this is not an order mixed up, this is how my order was prepared). In general, the food is good, but the service suffers.
