This place really impresses with its beauty, atmosphere, and cozy atmosphere. Some points offer stunning panoramas. There are many cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops and small shops. You can find everything from traditional Turkish sweets to handmade products. It is the heart of the city with a unique atmosphere where history meets modernity. We were very pleased with the walk in this area, I definitely recommend you to visit

This year we decided to spend our holidays in Antalya, namely in Kaleici. I wanted to plunge into the atmosphere of this ancient area. We settled in an old hotel, which, as I learned, had a convent for girls two centuries ago. The hotel itself has a small exhibition of antique costumes, there is a small art gallery, which also displays historical moments of the city's life, people from different classes. The area itself is also impressive. It is interesting to walk there both in the afternoon and in the evening. Narrow winding streets, the stones of the fortress walls, which want to tell you a lot of stories. Stairs, polished to an incredible smoothness by thousands of thousands of feet.. Everything here is steeped in history. A pleasant addition is the beautiful parks, the promenade and incredible views of the sea and mountains. We ended up in Antalya during the pre-holidays and public holidays. The atmosphere of the Muslim holiday in this ancient city left an indelible impression.

It's so beautiful and so peaceful here, especially in the morning it's interesting to watch the fishermen wake up and get ready to catch. The views of the bay from the observation deck are amazing! The ideal place to travel for a weekend is to walk around the old town, meditate while looking at the water and recharge with the sun.

Even in April, the area is crowded and noisy, which means it attracts with its beauty.🤩 Narrow streets with souvenirs lead to the embankment in one direction, or to the bustling center in the other. One thing is clear - all roads lead to beauty!

I am delighted with this place, it is very atmospheric. Old houses like in the movie "The Diamond Hand". Streets, stone paths, small shops and cozy cafes and restaurants. There is a gorgeous beach with emerald blue water. You can also go boating and yachting and see the waterfall.

I was very inspired by this place! We've touched history, it's a place where you can enjoy every step, look, and sigh! Small colorful streets, cozy stone houses, divine doors and window frames, unusual greenery for us. The most important thing is to realize that Kaleici was founded in the second century BC, and to understand that chariots once rode here, fish were sold, people lived and fought. Impressive! I recommend it a hundred hundred times, a must-visit for everyone!!! You won't regret it! And most importantly, when you are here on excursions, with guides who specially lead you to special shops, do not buy anything right away, do not make impulsive purchases, come back later, prices will be almost twice cheaper!!! Verified.

We visited the old town of Kaleici in Antalya in February 2024. I love old towns with their history, architecture, and streets, especially if you have access to the sea. We enjoyed this place, made up a route in advance, what to see and followed it. Mosques, seaport, shops. We walked around a lot without a tour, drank fresh pomegranate juice and local dishes and sweets. Be sure to visit Kaleici. Very beautiful!

This is a gorgeous place in Antalya, a very cozy neighborhood sandwiched between the sea and the new city. More precisely, this is not even a part of the city, but the oldest city. Narrow crooked streets, with ascents and descents, endless shops, cafes, restaurants! Gorgeous, "atmospheric" (although I don't like that word, but here it describes the area very succinctly). It is very interesting to wander here and observe the preserved atmosphere, spirit, architecture of old Turkey. To be in Turkey and not see it in its old, pristine form means not to taste all the charm of the East! Walk along the marina with a huge number of yachts and tourist brigantines decorated with various figures of pirates, filibusters, corsairs and other sea robbers. A mosque that has been operating for 500 years, ancient clock towers, a hammam that has been operating for more than a hundred years, hotels in ancient castles, buildings and much more. A gorgeous marina, observation decks, delicious food from fresh seafood, the scent of incense, obsessive sellers))), all this is Kaleichi. But no, that's not all. I would like to describe separately the indigenous and most important inhabitants of this neighborhood. These are cats and cats. There are just a lot of them here. There is a city of cats in the Kaliningrad region, Zelenogradsk. Yes, there are a lot of them, but they mostly occupied one street there. Here, in Kaleichi, they occupied the entire space. They're residents here. They don't look like our cats and cats. They are thinner, longer, and have high paws. I didn't see any fat Cats there. They live in groups of 5-6. Kittens and adults get along well together. There are houses, toilets, food and water in saucers for them. We have never felt a specific cat smell anywhere. I saw cleaners and cat feeders. We stayed in a hotel in Kaleici. Of course, we also heard the nocturnal cat concerts)). Where without it)). Visit Kaleici!

It's interesting to see the old town. But in my opinion, they have made it too much of a commercial place, with many restaurants, cafes and mini-hotels. There is no opportunity to take a walk and enjoy the old town, to plunge into its atmosphere for real. It's also annoying to see the endless number of vehicles that travel there, you're more stuck on the walls and looking around so that you don't run into them. There's definitely nothing to do with small children there. Adults can watch it once for general development. I recommend starting the tour from the bay, taking the elevator down and heading towards the famous arch.

A cozy old town. You can wander endlessly through these streets, avoiding the crowds of tourists. Romantic place, emerging from around the corner, you can get into the mall or on the small veranda of the cafe. There are several viewing platforms offering beautiful views of the sea, mountains, and the port. I'm impressed 💞

A very beautiful old town in the center of Antalya. Narrow cobbled streets, authentic houses. Lots of cafes and restaurants for every taste. See the prices in advance, there are very expensive restaurants. The food is great everywhere. Going for a walk in the evening when the heat subsides is the best thing. Nuance- if by car, parking may be a problem. It's expensive and difficult to find, especially on weekends.

They say if you've been to Antalya and you haven't been to the old town, you haven't been there. The coolest and most atmospheric place for walking and relaxing, for beautiful photos. It is located in the heart of Antalya, close to many transport, places for walking and shopping. We will definitely come back here next year.

There are also calm and quiet places where you can stay in silence, and if you want to have fun, then you can easily find such a place. The beach in this area is very cool, clean, comfortable, lots of space. The sea is clean, warm and velvety!!! There are not bad cafes, a market, parks, shops. We were very satisfied!!!

An interesting place, unlike the new town and the hotel line. It is interesting to wander through the narrow streets, especially in the evening. You can go to the embankment and spend the sun below the horizon, and then walk through the park and look at the city sculptures. In short, it's entertainment for one day. But high-quality.

The Old Town in Antalya is the most popular attraction. Tourists are attracted by the opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of antiquity. Fortress walls, towers, and residential buildings have been well preserved even since the time of ancient Rome. Some have been restored. It is very exciting to realize that these walls "remember" the people who lived here several centuries ago. Perhaps one of the early Christians walked here and preached about Jesus Christ to the inhabitants of the ancient city. It is written about one of these Christians in the biblical book of Acts: "He knew the teaching of [the Lord] and, prompted by the holy Spirit, spoke and taught about Jesus with great fervor..."

Well, what can I say. I don't understand all the hype around this place. Everything is filled with shops and stalls. Literally every meter, boutiques, shops, souvenirs, clubs, etc. All that remains of the old town and the district are the old walls, peeking out behind hundreds of signs... The only plus that you can really see and walk around is the port!
