The food is just fine, especially the dinners. We had breakfast +dinner at the nearby Sergios Hotel, which is 3*, but I would give it all 4* for nutrition. There was only one restriction at dinner - all drinks except water were paid, for example tea 2 euros. Overall, I liked the hotel, it's not bad for 2*.

The hotel itself is primitive to the point of impossibility. It's noisy at night (in neighboring more expensive hotels - the same thing). But: - excellent varied two meals a day at the nearby Sergios hotel - we never went to any restaurant, as we ate plenty; - clean, bed linen and towels are changed every three days, cleaning every day; - excellent WiFi in the rooms from the nearby Sergios Hotel (go there at the reception and look at the password); - the beach is very close; - there is a bus stop to Heraklion nearby; - there are grocery stores near the entrance to the hotel; - the staff is calm and friendly. In general, for the price that Booking offered for this hotel, it would be impossible even to find a decent hostel in Moscow. And with such a diet.......
