The Imperial Garden in the Forbidden City is a small but very exquisite garden in the northernmost part of the palace complex, created exclusively for the recreation of the imperial family. Instead of an abundance of flowers, there are bizarre ancient trees, ponds with carp and rare stones from all over China.
