We stayed for 3 days from April 28 to April 30, 2026. The location is just a bomb. The view of the Bruneleschi dome compensated for the lack of drinking water, tea, coffee, and even a refrigerator in the room. There weren't even any glasses. Soap and tb were present. The breakfast is very modest, only boiled eggs are hot. They help at the reception, well done, they go to the meeting. I recommend the hotel solely because of the location

1. Advantages: convenient location in the center of Florence 2. Disadvantages: It's an old hotel, the rooms don't have a refrigerator or kettle, the walls are shabby and in need of repair.

A very nice hotel. I had a small room, but everything was very clean, a nice, comfortable bed, a large shower room (perfectly clean, with good plumbing). And most importantly, you leave the hotel, and you have the Giotto bell tower right in front of your eyes. For those who like to walk around the "iconic places" late in the evening or early in the morning, the place is just perfect. The reception staff is very helpful. Yes, there is an elevator(!!!) and it works. Those who have experience of living in old Italian houses will agree that this is not so common. And for the pleasure of living in a house "with a patina", you often have to pay with the "pleasure" of dragging suitcases up steep and high stairs. Breakfast is the usual Italian, no frills buffet, but the juice is delicious (especially from red oranges), undiluted and not chemicals.
