I have been staying at this hotel since February 10, 2026. I was satisfied with the price/quality. The room is on the 3rd floor of the "new" building on the street side. The most important thing is the ocean(!), it is right at the steps of the hotel cafe. The room is clean, spacious, large bed, excellent mattress and linens, air conditioning, fan. Everything was working fine. The animals were small ants, not critical. I was careful not to open the balcony with the light on in the room. The view from the balcony is not beautiful, the unfinished(( The hotel staff is not intrusive. When I had trouble with my leg, they responded and helped, especially the massage therapist at the Ayurveda salon at the hotel. The view of the hotel from the street and from the ocean is not noticeable (to put it mildly!)to such an extent that I passed by it a couple of times (either on the street or walking along the shore). Then I got used to it, I remembered the unsightly signs. Sooooo glad I didn't order breakfast when booking. I left the hotel early in the morning, before the staff arrived, and I'm glad I didn't have to adjust to their schedule. I ate in cafes that I liked, then and wherever I wanted. Walking along the street and along the embankment in the evening, you can always go to a cafe with live music or just sit with pleasure on the shore. I didn't like that there was no electric kettle or refrigerator in the room. I spent three days on field trips. Therefore, I consider the hotel itself and my stay in room 307 to be successful in terms of price/quality. I really liked Hikkaduwa. I will try to arrange the next trip myself, without THAT, part of the days at the hotel from the forest, part at the hotel with access to the ocean.

For ocean fans, he's with you all the time while you're there. The beds are comfortable, there is hot water. The food in the cafe is delicious, cheaper, or the same as in the area, the breakfast is hearty, coffee is brewed, it is included in the breakfast. The staff is helpful. But the hotel is not a five, or even a three, it needs to be repaired, everything is a little shabby, it was scary to look at the door in one room, plumbing was leaking in the other, there is no furniture for clothes, only hooks, take hangers. But we didn't care, we were just sleeping in the room. Surfers are always in front of my eyes, next to Narigama with big waves, in the other direction there is a 10-minute beach with turtles, and behind it Hikkaduwa beach with a reef and fish. You can walk, you can take a tuktuk for 300 rupees or a crazy bass for 50. The location is fire.

I liked the hotel, I had a rest from 18.12.24 to 28.12.24 The hotel is located on the ocean. The room was a delux king on the 2nd floor with air conditioning and a fan. A comfortable bed, a small bedside table with a chair, a wardrobe, a small balcony, a floor dryer. There were no problems with the water, the pressure was good, the boiler was always hot. The hotel's cafe is located on the ocean, the food is delicious, and the prices are good. Excellent staff-friendly and ready to help with any question. The location is convenient, the beach is about 800 meters away. The bus station is about 2 km away.
