We stayed at the Hali hotel in March-April 2026. The hotel is located in the very center, St. Sophia is visible from the window. Breakfast is on the top floor and there is a stunning view from the terrace: the Bosphorus is visible, the Sea of Marmara is on the right, St. Sophia is ahead. The breakfasts are quite dense, delicious, but of the same type. The room stock is a little outdated, the furniture is a little shabby, there are also nuances in the bathroom. But everything is clean, the linen is clean, snow-white, towels were changed every day. It is possible that we will come back here again. We were very satisfied!

I stayed at this hotel for the third time because of its convenient location, close to the sights.The hotel is old, the beds are comfortable, the bed linen is stained, there is no kettle in the room, the walls are thin, the audibility is high, it is often noisy outside.The breakfast is modest, but you won't stay hungry, the view from the dining room is excellent, the hotel staff don't understand Russian, they don't know English, and the attitude towards tourists is neutral.On the last day before departure, I asked the reception employee to call a taxi to the airport, he asked to pay for his trip, and said that he would not call a taxi without payment, I was ready to pay for the ride to the driver and it seemed very strange to me, I was not sure that the hotel employee would transfer the payment to the driver, but I had to go to the airport where there would be no time to sort things out, I wonder if anyone has encountered such situations?It's safer to take the subway, but it doesn't work at night.

We chose this hotel because it is very close to the historical center of the city. Since we came to Istanbul only for the sake of excursions, we treated the room especially purely for a place to spend the night and recover from hiking. The owners of the hotel do their job honestly: breakfast from 8-10 on the 5th floor with a sick terrace with an all-round view of the Bosphorus, the food is not frozen omelette, salad, cheese, sausages, coffee, tea, etc. The room is cleaned every day. It is very comfortable to sleep, there is no unnecessary noise from the street, if the Azan was heard only once and then not loudly.
