We stayed at the hotel in February-March 2026. The hotel is good, the rooms are cleaned daily, there are no problems with towels. The rooms are tired, of course, we booked a room with a window, so it's no use. The windows still overlook the neighboring hotel, and it's 1 meter away, which you can reach with your hand, so there's no point in opening the curtains anyway. We didn't see a problem with that, as we only came to sleep. As for the breakfasts at the hotel, they are gorgeous. The GU HOTEL does not have its own restaurant, and for breakfast we went to the neighboring GIG HOTEL, which, in turn, is 4* and the breakfasts there are excellent! Fruits: papaya, pitahaya, watermelons, melons, pineapples have always been there. There is a varied menu and everyone will find it to suit their taste. The restaurant was always clean, the cooks were wearing caps, the dishes were clean, and there was nothing to complain about. As for the location, there is a large night market nearby with lots of delicious food, a lot of cafes, we always went to dinner in different places and it was acceptable everywhere. It was a 3-block walk to the sea, via Bangla Road, which was difficult in the evening, as the street was packed with vendors and everyone was trying to lure you in, sometimes you had to walk around the neighboring streets. In the evening, too, all the tourists come to it, and it's impossible to walk quietly, but those who love this atmosphere every day will be OK, you will feel Thailand in all its glory) There are 2 large shopping malls nearby, Jungle Ceylon and Central. As a budget hotel, I would highly recommend it.

Great hotel! This is one of the buildings of the Gig hotel 4*. That is, you live in three, but all the services and meals are provided by four! The pool on the roof is a fire, the sauna next to it is a fire, their alcohol was brought from sevenleven - generally a cannon! View from the pool to the sea and banglarode Meals: buffet, several types of hot dishes, omelette, fruits, cheeses, toasts, delicious coffee... In general, the food was good) The pineapples were great for breakfast, and there were watermelons, dragon fruit, and sometimes a melon. Do not take a standard room - there are almost no windows and there is nowhere to dry things. We took it with a balcony - everything was great, the only negative was the lack of a closet, only 4 hangers on the wall. It's not noisy to sleep, it's in a cubbyhole, sometimes in the morning when we left bangla, stray people were yelling under the windows, but this is the case everywhere) The towel and the bed were changed properly. Banglarode is a 2-minute walk away, the sea is 5 minutes away, Da Jangseylon is a couple of minutes away, and the fish market is also there. The location is very good. We found an exchange with a good exchange rate right next to the hotel! Massage in the hotel building is healthy, by the way, they didn't find it cheaper either. The staff is loyal, they don't pester, but they don't crucify, everything is neutral and we liked it.
