THE HORROR!! Check into another hotel! The hotel is very well located! The party streets are literally 50-100 meters away, and the embankment is a 5-10-minute walk away. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. The breakfasts aren't bad, but they're not belissimo either! and despite the fact that the rooms are already a little tired, the hotel could be given a solid 3, or maybe even 4 with a minus! But the scams that the hotel administration does not allow me to give it more than 1 star. We arrived in Baku on the evening of 05/29/2025, took a taxi to the hotel, went up to the reception, smiled sweetly at us, took the payment, naturally without giving a check, and said that we would not live in the Grand Mirror, but in just the Mirror. We booked a De luxe room, but they brought us to a "bedbug" (room 301- photos 1-7 and 9) with falling off tiles, a bathroom that stinks of sewage and a dirty carpet splattered with incomprehensible liquids, the stains of which have already darkened with age. In addition, the falling-off jamb of the front door, i.e. the safety of things, had to be left to fate! The bed linen was bleached almost perfectly, but there were threads hanging on the sides, and the friends who were "lucky" to check into this hotel with us had a hole in the duvet cover! Yandex will not miss the full and detailed comments on this situation in the words that I would like to apply.... Coming to the reception with a complaint, we were asked with a naive look: "why? You didn't like it there?"! ........ of course not, we ordered De luxe and not a semi-hostel! As a result, we were promised to change the number, BUT TOMORROW, because there are no rooms at the moment. In the morning after breakfast, the miracle did not happen, because there was a shift at the reception and the new employee threw up his hands when we said that we would be moving out of the hotel, the woman, apparently the hostess (wife or mother of the owner), who was also a cook, after hearing our conversation, promised that the rooms would be after 14.00. At that moment, the guys from Kazakhstan who were leaving were already waiting for a refund at the reception- everything was going with a "huge creak", even a call to the police did not help, because the receptionist explained to the policeman in his own way that there were hotel rules and the Kazakhs simply did not catch up with what and how...... It was time to check out (12:00) from the "bedbug" room of the Mirror, we were told that we could continue to enjoy the beauties of Baku, and they themselves would move our suitcases when the cleaning was finished, but in order not to risk flying with the room to the Grand Mirror, we moved the suitcase to the room and took the keys before the end of cleaning (photos 1 and 8). The room was adjacent to the reception, so we regularly heard arguments between the newly arrived poor devils and the administration about the rooms, nationality did not play any role here - Russians, Kazakhs, Pakistanis, etc. Everyone had to complete this quest. And I can tell you that the audibility is excellent- in all directions, so my wife and I took full revenge on the receptionist on one romantic evening. To summarize, choose another hotel!!!!!!!!! if you still decide to choose this one, then FROM THE BEGINNING, DEMAND TO SHOW THE ROOM IN WHICH YOU WILL LIVE AND ONLY THEN PAY, otherwise you will have to go through the Mirror hotel's choror!!!!!!! I would like to note that cleaning in both buildings took place daily. If the administration does not deceive the guests, then the hotel is quite good. The location is great! And the Mirror case is definitely under repair. Unfortunately, travel trips are almost always very limited in time, so it's a pity to waste time on changing hotels and dealing with dishonest hoteliers. Good luck to all! And have a good rest!
