I've been there twice and I'll go again for the views, architecture and a certain chamber atmosphere. The town is small and quiet, especially when there are few tourists and you can just relax. A minibus travels from Tbilisi in 1.5 - 2 hours. If you ride a car or motorcycle, like me, then the streamers are impressive.

The view is breathtaking at first glance when approaching the city. The streets still believe in the old days. Cafe "balcony" everything that was ordered is delicious, there is something to eat for vegetarians. Grandmothers sell felted slippers made of sheep's wool, there are also handmade sheepskin rugs, I have already planned for myself what I will buy on my next visit. We walked along the wall, reached the convent, had a delicious meal, and the day was a success. Everyone was satisfied with the trip

We really enjoyed it! The views are simply amazing. You can also climb the towers, but you need to remember that there are steep steps. It's easy to climb up, but it's harder to get down. The path along the wall is narrow, and you should also be careful. But it's definitely worth it. 😍
