Riding with an open top along the sea coast, mountain roads, under the warm Abkhazian sun is a very special feeling that is difficult to put into words. I took a BMW 118I for a day. Before that, I traveled around Abkhazia on a Fit for a week. The goal was to enjoy driving on winding roads, and the penny seemed to meet my criteria. The two-liter engine and the interesting handling provided by the manufacturer promised pleasant emotions. But when I saw one burning headlight of a car coming towards me, doubts crept in. My concerns about the condition of the car were confirmed by opening the door. The obscenely greasy seats, the fallen-out interior parts, and the doors closing with the sound of garage doors immediately made me look at the dashboard, where the check was shining. However, this is the norm for BMW)). Driven. The car jerks at low speeds. But the main disappointment was ahead. Driving through the first speed bump, it became clear that you can forget about good handling. There is no suspension from the word at all. Even the Fit I used before had a much more energy-intensive and pleasant suspension. This penny cost 3,000 and another 200 was charged for a baby booster (with an isofix mount and wildly inconvenient for a child. I even had to deploy it). For comparison, the fit, which generally left a more pleasant feeling along with the booster, cost 2000 and at the same time it had a Wi-Fi router, which was not the case in bmw. One of the advantages of the BMW is the traction motor and the fact that I went back on my own.
