I genuinely do not understand how a place can serve something this bad and still call it a “burger.” My friend and I decided to try Garun in Yerevan expecting a decent meal and left completely disappointed, uncomfortable, and honestly shocked by the way customers are treated there. The burger arrived looking nothing like something worth paying for. Completely tasteless meat, dry bun, cold ingredients, no proper sauce, no seasoning, no balance — absolutely zero flavor. It felt like eating cardboard with random ingredients thrown inside. Even fast food places for a fraction of the price would be embarrassed to serve something this awful. My friend literally could not continue eating it after a few bites and pushed the plate away because it was THAT bad. What made the experience even worse was the attitude afterwards. We calmly explained that the burger was inedible and asked if something could be done about the bill considering the food was untouched after a few bites. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager immediately became defensive, started making weird comments, strange reactions, and acted as if WE were the problem for pointing out how terrible the food was. There was absolutely no attempt to solve the issue, no apology, no customer service, nothing. Just uncomfortable behavior and attitude. A good restaurant knows how to react when customers are unhappy. Mistakes happen everywhere. But the real problem starts when management behaves immaturely instead of respectfully listening to feedback. The entire atmosphere became awkward because apparently saying “this burger has no taste” offended them more than serving horrible food to paying customers. For the prices they charge, the quality is honestly unacceptable. Yerevan has so many amazing cafés and restaurants with actual flavor, proper hospitality, and respectful staff — this place unfortunately is not one of them. I would genuinely not recommend Garun to anyone looking for quality food or decent service. Save your money, save your mood, and go literally anywhere else.

The coffee was cold, we asked to warm it up. Instead the waiter brought a new cup and put it to the bill as a second cup. Upon trying to understand why 2 coffees were counted, the waiter started to loudly and aggressively speak Armenian (which we don’t speak, and he knew it). The manager and the waiter discussed us in Armenian in front of us. There was a feeling they’re cursing us. The staff behavior is, honestly, intolerable.
