The fortress itself is very beautiful, beige, as if it glows in the sun. The entrance is only 5 reals (1000 rubles), you can explore everything slowly, there are few air-conditioned areas, mainly the gallery on the 2nd floor. An exhibition of local crafts and history is on display on the ground floor. Many local families visit the museum, it is very nice to see them, the people are very friendly. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor, I recommend a Spanish latte, and there is also a bathroom (satisfactory, there is no air conditioning inside). There are also basket-making workshops, but I didn't get in and I didn't find a schedule. There is also a kindergarten where there are local animals and large blue parrots. It took me 2 hours to explore the fortress of the museum.

Nizwa Fort is one of the largest in Oman. It's definitely worth a visit. Input 5 omr But I would recommend the fortress of neighboring Bahla, it is larger and more picturesque.

Nizwa Fort is one of the many forts in Oman, but definitely one of the most beautiful. The view and photo opportunities here are amazing, and the atmosphere itself is simply incredible. Walking in the heat can be exhausting, but there are plenty of shady places to rest. Don't forget to try the dishes from Mrs. Rukia — it's a delicious and pleasant bonus to visit!
