The fountain is harmonious and beautiful, located in the center of a small circular square. This place was once home to something like a bay, where marble was unloaded, coming for the construction of the Duomo through the canals from the quarries of Lake Maggiore. So there was water here, and nearby was the construction site of a magnificent cathedral. As soon as all the necessary materials were delivered, these waterways were laid and formed an area on which such a beautiful fountain is now beating. But the water history of the place, of course, remains.
