Advantages of the hotel: - excellent location: across a small road there is a public beach, a cafe, and a shop around the corner. There are no descents or ascents to overcome.; - there is a large swimming pool with sun loungers, a spacious lobby; - the room has air conditioning, refrigerator, double and single beds, shower gel, shampoo and soap in the bathroom; - our room was on the 1st floor, which had direct access to the pool; - generally friendly staff. Disadvantages of the hotel: - old shabby rooms with creaking doors, peeling handles, and the smell of dampness. The bed and pillow are uncomfortable. The size of the standard room is small. I can't imagine how to accommodate large suitcases here. There is no kettle. Water for three people (2 adults and a child) is 2 bottles of 0.33 liters each. - there is no privacy, it's noisy, and you can't relax in silence, because the windows and doors of the rooms overlook the communal courtyard with a swimming pool, and there are conversations and music from the bar all day. There is also no sound insulation between the rooms and the corridors.; - there is no safe in the room; - at 12.30 p.m., 1.5 hours before the standard check-in time, we charged an additional 10 euros for early check-in, provided that the room was already ready. I've never understood such pettiness. It looks especially funny that the price includes a late check-out service, but there is no early check-in. Payment is accepted only in cash; - it is strange for a hotel located almost on the beach to have no beach towels. The pool was additionally provided with regular white ones, which are used in the rooms. Obviously, this is also why they have a washed-out appearance.; - the floor in the room is dirty, it is unpleasant to walk on it barefoot; - breakfast is bad: sausages in tomatoes, boiled eggs, tasteless pastries with cottage cheese and sausage, several types of olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, jams, bread, disgusting coffee, tea. Sanitation raises questions, as street cats with obvious signs of illness roam inside and on the premises of the restaurant. It's disgusting to eat in such an environment. In general, the hotel and the service are in a depressing state. It could be a good place with proper attention from the management.

I was there in September. The hotel is perfectly located two minutes from the sea. There is no private beach, the public beach is not like that, but we quite pleasantly went to it twice a day with a bag and towels to swim, then returned to the hotel to take a shower. It's very quiet in the evening, there are no discos nearby. There is a bus stop named after this hotel near the hotel, from which you can go to the central part of Bodrum (you can also walk, but you have to overcome the hills, in the heat it is a dubious pleasure). The territory of the hotel is very clean, there is continuous cleaning here and there. Lots of greenery, elegant design and lighting, the interior of the lobby is simply beautiful (I went there to read a book in the heat of the day). The guests are mostly middle-aged British and Germans, as well as Turks. Some of them, it seems, do not leave the hotel at all, they live according to the scheme "breakfast — chaise longue + Tuborg + pool — dinner — sleep". During the day, music is played from the pool bar (mostly non—pop, electronic, downtempo, and ethnic on some days), and it's turned off in the evening. The rooms tend to be cleaned daily (sometimes I had to refuse), the staff ranges from friendly to polite. The rooms themselves have no remarkable interior, but they are nice and tidy, the air conditioner was working. The door locks are electronic, and the door card is also needed for power supply in the room. The breakfasts were nutritious in total, but not particularly encouraging in composition, there was no fruit, and the coffee was bad. We went to the surrounding restaurants for dinner (Windy Bay has excellent sea bass, and the neighboring Mistral Bay has everything else). There is a set of cats and kittens, their staff feeds them.

The sea is bad in Gumbet, but the hotel and the pool are nice... a quiet, peaceful hotel... breakfast is enough, there is also a municipal Cafe 50 meters away... a minibus passes in front of the Bodrum center…
