Level 19 Local Expert

A tiny family restaurant with a small number of tables, see the photo. I tried the fish and potatoes dish with lemon sauce for $ 6 (recalculated from EGP) - simple and delicious. The next day I tried Tajline Mixed Seafood, something like julienne with fish. I recommend this place! Well, as for the dirt (they clean up the place - they washed the floor with me after someone messed up) and cats - this is typical of more expensive establishments in Egypt.

This is the 4th year we have been coming here when we arrive in Cairo. Excellent cuisine, better than in Alexandria, probably the best (seafood) in Egypt, no matter how pretentious it may sound. We tried all the menus. Advice to those who decide to visit the restaurant is not to order more than 1.5 dishes per person, do not eat, the portions are large. And start with a light "crab meat", which is essentially a crab julienne and the smallest dish in this restaurant.
