Level 2 Local Expert

Staying in a historical medrese is a unique experience with an unbeatable central location very nice courtyard and a good breakfast. It’s truly atmospheric, but comes with some "authentic" quirks: The roomsl is small and it feels damp due to poor airflow. It gets cold quickly if the AC isn't running. The bathroom is very basic. The corridor ceilings are very low—watch your head! Overall an interesting, memorable stay for those who prioritize history over modern comfort. Just remember to duck!

A great place to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the old town. Living in a former madrasa is a special pleasure. I liked everything: the location, the room, the breakfast, the water pressure separately surprised. I lived during cool weather, it was only 15 degrees outside, so it was very cool in the madrasa, the split system saved. I will be happy to come back myself and recommend this hotel. Thank you very much!

Madrasah in the center of Khiva. Beautiful courtyard, unusual rooms. The rooms have everything: cupboards, table, mirror, cups. There is no kettle, but there is a cooler in the restaurant. The bathroom is great. The breakfasts are European, there is enough of everything, there is a coffee machine. Comfortable, calm. The rooms are cold, but it's comfortable for the warm season. I think it's very cold there in winter, the air conditioner can't handle it.
