Alanya Kalesi Fortress is a medieval fortress in the city of Alanya in southern Turkey. It is located on a rocky peninsula 250 m high, jutting out into the Mediterranean Sea, which surrounds it on three sides. The length of the fortress walls is about 6.5 km, reinforced with 14 towers and guard posts. The area is about 10 hectares. Currently, the fortress has been turned into an open-air museum. Entrance to the castle is paid, but most of the fortress can be viewed for free.

Beautiful! The view is amazing. While we were resting, the fortress beckoned not just with its ancient history, but with its beauty around. Narrow paths, old-timers, turtles walking by themselves. We climbed the fortress, the hill and admired the view: the marina, the sea, the lighthouse. You can climb to the highest altitude and find yourself in a park of flowering cacti, lemon trees and other plants that you will not find in Russia.

The old fortress towers over the city and encourages exploration and adventure. You can climb up by funicular, in comfortable six-seater cabins. There is a great view of the bay from above. Stone walls, narrow passageways, and back streets trigger historical curiosity and turn on fantasy.
