The palace is one of the main attractions in Marrakech. The palace is open to tourists, as well as Arabic music concerts and art exhibitions. I visited in January 2026, and part of the building was under restoration. There is a beautiful garden with cypresses, jasmine, oranges, 150 rooms in the palace, fountains. One of the disadvantages is that there is no furniture left at all, which was taken out at the beginning of the 19th century. But you can enjoy the exquisite cedar wood carvings, murals and moldings.
