In April 2026, we went to Belarus. The Dudutki Craft Museum was visited on the first day of our stay. All the crafts of Belarusians, which we were pleased to get acquainted with, are collected in one place. In each workshop, you can chat with the best craftsmen, ask questions and buy something to remember you by. Blacksmithing and pottery, weaving, and straw weaving (straw is the gold of Belarus) are represented. There is also a small subsidiary farm, and butter and cheeses are prepared from their own products, and fragrant bread is baked. Butter, bread and several types of cheese can be tasted at the tasting, very tasty! The Shinok cafe sells vodka (moonshine in Russian) and lard. You can try a hot drink with bread, bacon and pickle right there in the cafe. We touched and listened to the bagpipes, a wonderful ancient instrument. For those who are interested in folk art, it is worth visiting this place. There is also a small zoo on the territory: horses, ostriches, pheasants, rabbits, wild boars, chickens. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The territory is well maintained and clean. Toilets are available in sufficient quantity. Monday and Tuesday are days off, and many museums in Belarus are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We were very satisfied with the visit and bought some local products for ourselves.
