We recently returned from an amazing vacation in the Maldives, vacationing with a group of six people (four adults and two children) in January 2026. We chose the hotel on our own and never regretted our choice, staying in this magical corner, far from the hustle and bustle of the city and surrounded by picturesque nature. Due to the flight delay, the entire schedule went awry, but Alexander had everything planned: he booked us a room in the capital, Male, in advance, since we arrived there in the dead of night, arranged a transfer by boat and personally met us on the island. Upon entering, you immediately feel like a long-awaited guest. The pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and friendly welcome set a great mood from the first minutes of your stay. And the delicious cocktails literally welcomed us! Location:The hotel is located in a quiet area of the island right on the ocean. The sound of the waves accompanies you around the clock, and waking up in the morning amidst a delightful landscape is a special pleasure. Our children were free to walk around the island alone, went into local shops — absolutely safe and calm. Despite the compact size of the territory, it is perfectly maintained, equipped with comfortable recreation areas. A great and unforgettable vacation. We stayed at this hotel with our family for the New Year holidays. We bought a tour in advance from a travel agent, but there was no information we were interested in about the room, I found a hotel on the Internet and contacted Alexander, who told us everything in detail, explained and showed us what and how. We booked a family room for 4 people very comfortably, there is an air conditioner, a fan, a shower, a Jacuzzi bathroom for everyone, separate sleeping places for 4 people are very convenient. The room has a refrigerator, a safe, a hairdryer, shower accessories, and a clothes dryer. The family room on the second floor has a beautiful view from the window and its own small balcony with a magnificent view. Everything is fine about the service at the hotel, Alexander solves any issues, organizes magnificent excursions to the islands and reefs, as well as fishing (you won't regret fishing fire) we got ourselves dinner and lunch in an hour, which the chef prepared for us at the hotel. I really liked the delicious Baracuda and sweet snapper. The hotel itself is simple but very cozy, the waiters are friendly and helpful. There is everything for a great holiday, you will not regret coming. We were very satisfied. We will definitely return to the Donfoulafi hotel for relaxation. I hope I said it correctly. About the island itself. It is a paradise. Beautiful reef, snow-white sand, azure water and silence.You don't need anything else on vacation.
