The history of winemaking in Dutch turned out to be a real discovery for me. The Datça Vineyard & Winery is located in the Degirmenalty area, where old windmills are adjacent to new buildings. It was founded by Hasan Ishleiji, a chemist from Ankara, who first made wine for himself and friends, and then decided to turn his hobby into a lifelong business. On an area of 40 hectares, he and his family planted vines and built a cozy tasting building in the shape of a mill. The basement has modern equipment, oak barrels and cool cellars, where even in summer the temperature does not rise above 20 degrees. Different grape varieties are grown here: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, as well as rare local species. The wine is produced under the Cnidus and Silenus brands, and you can taste it all right on the spot, sitting at a wooden table overlooking the spacious vineyards. I especially liked the philosophy of the owners: they do not pursue scale, but rely on quality and a friendly atmosphere. The goal is about 50,000 bottles per year, affordable, so that as many people as possible can share the joy of good wine. If you find yourself in Dutch, be sure to visit here — this is not just a winery, but a place where you can feel the soul of the region and learn how nature and traditions turn into delicious art.

It is a beautiful place in terms of ambience. I can't say the same about the staff and the business. We made a reservation, 4 separate people came to show us our place, but we were still standing. Finally, we sat down and ordered, when the bottle of wine arrived, it was served with an ice bucket, the wine ran out, the ice bucket arrived. I don't want to extend it too much, but it's a place that doesn't match the price performance at all. The business manager came and listened to us to thank you for being satisfied, and he made a number of explanations in his own way and made a discount in the nature of an apology, which is not a big deal, because instead of having a pleasant evening, it was a tense and short evening for us. To be honest, I would prefer not to do it again.

A hospitable place, well, sooooo delicious cheesecakes, good coffee. The wine was tasted: they know how to make it here. We tried three varieties, then took a glass of pink, red and white, in the end we bought it with us, it turned out to be so pleasant, grape, natural!
