The best coffee shop IN ASTANA OR A FAILURE? I visited the CULT coffee shop on the way to Astana airport. I evaluated the establishment in terms of service, cuisine and the integrity of the concept. Service. Teamwork and control of the hall are poorly organized. Walkie-talkies can be heard in the space, which is unacceptable for the guest area. The adjacent table remained unmade for a long time, while the staff were not loaded. The other guests were not served any dishes. During pauses, the staff uses phones instead of working with the audience. The non-verbal behavior of the staff (tense faces, lack of eye contact and smiles) creates a feeling of indifference to the guest. Kitchen. A hearty breakfast with sausages is visually assembled correctly, but the taste profile is not balanced. Salad without dressing makes the dish dry, the individual ingredients "live on their own." The quality of the individual ingredients (bread, sausages) is good, but as a single dish it does not strengthen the position. There were noticeable hairs on the cheese — it doesn't matter if they are technical or human, it is equally critical for the guest and indicates poor control of the kitchen. Coffee. Americano is prepared consistently: the grain is of high quality, the taste is clean, without obvious errors. This is the strongest operational part of the visit. At the same time, the lack of sugar bowls looks like a flaw in the basic service. Interior and concept. The space is visually strong: modern design, professional equipment, proper work with the image of coffee culture. However, dirty display cases and mirrors reduce the overall impression and contradict the stated level. Conclusion. An establishment with a good visual concept and decent coffee, but with failures in service, room control and kitchen. For a full-fledged visit, a place does not form a value. The "takeaway coffee" format is possible, but not as a space for relaxation.

My favorite place in Astana. You can chat here and watch people. A very high-quality espresso, I enjoyed my Americano and tasted the pastries: there is also a pastry school inside, so there is a certain taste both in the interior and in the products.
