Great vacation at Cool Beach! The sea, the fish and the care of the staff We stayed at the Cool Beach Hotel with my husband. Everything went great! At first, we were accommodated on the 3rd floor with a magnificent view of the ocean — the rooms are very decent. But then we asked to be moved to the ground floor so that we wouldn't have to climb the stairs every time, and the staff met us without any problems, for which we would like to thank you. Food and a feature of the hotel: A separate delight is the opportunity to buy fresh fish directly from the fishermen who come ashore. The chefs at the hotel will immediately cook it very tasty and profitable! The beach and the sea: The ocean was pleasant — warm, affectionate. The entrance is sandy, sloping, no corals, no rocks. The beach is very clean, and what is important is that there are no strangers, only hotel guests, complete relaxation. Transfer: Special thanks to the hotel manager Grisha, who drove a comfortable car on the nearest excursions. Thanks also to the Ravindra hotel employee who organizes tuk-tuk trips to Hikkadu. You can just text him and he will take you back. It is very convenient to explore the surroundings. We wholeheartedly recommend the hotel for a relaxing and delicious stay!

I was led to a photo from the booking office, where the photos were supposedly taken 10 years ago at the opening of the hotel, but now it looks much sadder. I give the beach 4 stars, but the hotel itself 2-3. I definitely wouldn't have returned to it a second time. The breakfasts are the same every day. They're cold. Sometimes even without sausages because they forget to defrost them for breakfast ... the location is remote, there is nothing around except the bar across the street. 8 km in one direction to Hikkaduwa and a little less in the other direction to the nearest store.

A very cool hotel, a quiet, peaceful place, with a deserted beach. I didn't want to get out of the ocean, there are almost no waves in this place, which is rare for Sri Lanka. The owner and staff are very kind and attentive, they help us with everything, they accompanied us home as family members. The breakfasts are good, the coffee is delicious. For fun shopping, supermarkets and parties, you can simply drive a crazy bus of 15 Ross rubles or 300 Ross rubles to the city. And to relax in peace in this hotel, we had a huge terrace, every day we fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the ocean. I didn't want to leave.
