We stayed at Congress Hotel in Baku while visiting from Tashkent for a conference, and we had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is very conveniently located, especially for those attending events at the nearby congress center. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming — from the reception team to the wonderful ladies working in the kitchen. Everyone made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. We would especially like to mention Elmira and Gunel for their excellent service. They always greeted us with a warm smile and were very helpful with everything we needed. Their friendliness and attention made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team for the hospitality. We would be happy to stay here again on our next visit to Baku.

Disappointing experience in the hotel. First of all, I want to thank the staff of the hotel, as they are welcoming and try to help you, and the room cleaning staff are doing their job well. But the hotel itself is 2 stars maximum: A/C is not working, fridge is not working, all small bathrooms, and overall a bit tired furniture. Wi-Fi is a problem in this hotel: no stable connection, you can't even google anything without being cut off. Location is not great as well: yes, it’s close to the Heydar Aliyev Center, but far from the metro and city center, and getting a taxi is hard due to bad traffic jams. Breakfast food is average and the same every day, so in a few days you get tired of it. Overall experience is a bit disappointing, however, the personnel is trying to help.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with a group of girls. I liked everything very much. New clean rooms, staff attitude, awesome delicious breakfasts, the location is great for us. We recommend both the hotel and Azerbaijan in general!!! Everyone here is very responsive and polite! We will definitely come back.
