4 days in Istanbul. We passed by Chef Murad several times a day. We noticed that there is almost always a full landing. We spent a long time exploring the neighborhood today, got hungry, and decided to stop by for dinner. Everything positive that I've read in the reviews is true: very hospitable, friendly and efficient staff, quick delivery of dishes, hot tortillas for the first and second, as well as sauces and a slice of onion (if I'm not mistaken) for Turkish coffee. The portions are large. We ordered 2 chicken soups, lula, chicken skewers and 2 Turkish coffees for two (it seemed like a lot). We were very pleasantly surprised by the check for 1,550 lire. We visited the city cafe in January 2026, and honestly chose it because of the large number of people. In the evening, despite the non-tourist weather, the landing was more than half of the hall. The choice to visit the restaurant was spontaneous, but we did not lose out - it was warm, tasty, hospitable - we quickly accepted the order and served it. As a complement, a flatbread on thin dough was served directly from the oven with sauces. We ordered rich soups and portions of meat dishes. Everything turned out to be fresh and very tasty. There were a lot of locals among the visitors and not only that, I think the cafe is in demand - I recommend you to visit.
