A strange hotel, the name of California. Are there really no other beautiful Kazakh names? The hotel is a room + hostel. There are 2-bed rooms on the 1st floor, but none of the rooms have a sink to wash or a toilet. On the 1st floor there are four 2-bed rooms and one large room for a hostel with 12 beds. And for all these people there are only 2 toilets at the same time, such toilets were in Soviet times without toilets and Only 1 sink. What kind of hygiene can we talk about? The toilets are not cleaned, there is no toilet paper and they were put only after treatment. A separate word about the administrator. This is not the administrator, this is some kind of human woman, with a look from under her brows, and a question on her face, "what do you want from me?" No smile, no friendliness, no hello, no goodbye. Kitchen. Thanks to the women who fed us and our children. They cooked delicious food and never showed us even if there was no ready-made food. The beautiful weather was sunny, a little wind, a little rain, beautiful mountains, the Koksu River, all this made us feel good. We had a good rest, because we brought all the food with us, organized the program ourselves in the evening, sang songs, danced and talked. In general, it was difficult for us to spoil the mood, but the above nuances affected it a little. And yet, thank you Kazakhstan for the beautiful expanses, for the beautiful mountains, for the mood. We left a little tired but generally satisfied. Would you want to come back here again? I don't know yet. I know one thing, there are many wonderful places in Kazakhstan and for those who are engaged in tourism and the California hotel is part of tourism, pay attention to the little things, sometimes little things make our life more comfortable, more convenient and of course more pleasant.

A pleasant place. Fresh air, helpful staff. The food is quite decent, there is a choice, you can deviate from the menu within small limits. There is a sauna and an outdoor swimming pool. Sometimes something small doesn't work in the rooms, but it's uncritical.
