There are insultingly few Abkhazian, Georgian, and generally Caucasian authors. Of what there is, the lion's share are political books about relations between Georgia and Abkhazia. A few prose ones, a few poetic ones.. In general, there is a table of books. There are 30 books. The shop is atmospheric; already from the threshold it smells like a Soviet. The sign, the bars on the windows, the old bookshelves matching the color of my T-shirt, the saleswoman with the bills.. there is not enough tea or coffee here: to drink and rustle dilapidated pages.. On the shelves, by eye, 90% of the books are Russian classical literature of the XIX–XX centuries.

I went to the Second-hand Bookseller several times hoping to visit the store (the time of visit is May 2025) - it was closed all the time. There is no information on the store about the opening hours. A local resident reported that the owner opens the store chaotically, based on his own preferences. It's a pity that we never managed to visit.
