Cool location. Bukhara samsa on lavash is perfectly combined with beef. Samsa with beef is cooked in 5 minutes, everything is hot and fresh.

I didn't like it at all. There's so much black pepper in samsa that it's impossible to eat. And the samsa itself is dry and tasteless. An indistinct tomato paste sauce. Why there are so many rave reviews is unclear. There are uncomfortable wooden stools on the street, which can tear clothes. Be careful. It's not much of a diner. There are places in the city with real Bukhara samsa, but that's not the case here.

Some of the best Alat samsa in Almaty, I often take it home to take away. Odorless, made from good meat, with a tomato inside. They've been making them a little dry lately. I want to be more specific.
