I will write my honest review about the Bodrum Beach Resort hotel. 1. Nutrition We only had breakfasts, and they turned out to be quite the same — there is practically no variety. The only fruits offered were oranges, grapefruit and apples. There are a minimum of Turkish sweets — in fact, only one type of onion. We're not fussy about food, but even basic dishes like fried eggs were cooked with lots of butter. In general, nutrition is rather a minus. 2. Bodrum and excursions Bodrum itself is a beautiful city: windmills, amphitheater, St. Peter's Castle. There is a sense of the Greek atmosphere. But after visiting the main attractions, there is not much to do there. I would also like to mention the cost of entry to St. Peter's Castle — about 3,000 lira (about $ 100), which looks unreasonably expensive. We took an excursion to Ephesus — we paid 155 dollars for two, but the impressions did not meet expectations. Additionally, unpleasant moments arose: it seems that tourists are constantly being tricked. For example, our compatriots were told that visiting the house of the Virgin Mary was included, but on the way it turned out that they had to pay extra: 30 euros for the trip and 18 dollars for admission. 3. Sea and beach We lived in the Gumbet area, about 100 meters from the sea. Despite the proximity, the water seemed dirty — there are yachts nearby, and, apparently, all the waste goes to the shore. The beach is sandy and pebbly, it is inconvenient to enter without special shoes. The sea turned out to be quite cold in June. The hotel does not have its own beach. 4. The atmosphere of the hotel I didn't like the fact that by 20:00 the hotel seemed to "freeze" — the lights were turned off everywhere. Even to play billiards, you need to ask to turn on the lights separately. It's unclear why everything should be closed so early. I'll also mention the music separately: at the beginning of the holiday, everything was fine — neutral English-language tracks were playing. But then the situation changed — from morning to evening they started playing mostly Turkish music. I have nothing against her, but with constant playback, it makes it very difficult to relax and quickly tires. As for cleaning the pool, I've only seen it a couple of times in 10 days, and it looked questionable. 5. Number I would like to mention the blankets separately — they look more like thin waffle blankets than full-fledged blankets. Sleeping with them was uncomfortable. 6. Staff The work of the staff leaves questions. For example, deck chairs by the pool are often folded. If the pool is open, it is logical to prepare a recreation area. It's not difficult for me to arrange them myself, but it can be a problem for older guests. 7. Advantages There are water slides on site — in general, everything is working fine. I also liked the fitness room: even if the lights turn off early, they can turn it on at the reception. Result Would I go back to this hotel? No. Would you recommend it to others? Not either. In my opinion, this is a classic 3-star level.

The hotel does not have its own beach, and this negates all possible advantages. In this area, the entire beach is divided between hotels and is not allowed there, and the public beach is dirty with a muddy bottom. the room was normal, but they moved into one that was practically not cleaned, I went to wipe everything myself, everything was covered in dust, even the hangers, the traces of cups on the tables were sticky, and the dishes were unwashed. If you want to relax after lunch, forget about it, the music is blaring by the pool, it is impossible to fall asleep. The plumbing is old and worn out. Very rude maids, do not greet, do not clean up periodically, only through a complaint to the reception. You don't come here.

We decided to fly to Bodrum (Turkish peninsula). We took the tour with departure from Moscow, we flew from Ufa. It turned out to be much cheaper from Moscow (even taking into account the additional flight from Ufa and back)! Bodrum is an amazing place, it differs from other resorts in Turkey (after all, the former cities and villages of Greece, because the Greek architecture, white houses, beautiful streets leading to the sea have been preserved) and Bodrum is the closest to the Greek islands, besides it is located on the Aegean Sea, it is more beautiful than the Mediterranean (who has a visa, you can buy an excursion to the Greek islands of Kos and Rhodes). We found the perfect Bodrum Beach Resort hotel (I advise everyone), we got a two-room room for two, the hotel is located in Gumbet (one of the districts of Bodrum), 20 minutes on foot from the center of Bodrum (for example, if you walk at night in the center of Bodrum, it is very easy to walk to the hotel in Gumbet). I do not recommend taking hotels in Bodrum itself, it is very noisy there, after all, Bodrum is a party resort (lots of clubs and bars). In Gumbet itself, there are also streets with bustling nightlife, lots of bars, clubs and cafes, there is a place to walk if you do not want to go or go to the center of Bodrum. Our hotel had delicious breakfasts, newly renovated rooms, a large on-site swimming pool, a bar (by the way, you can have lunch and dinner at the hotel for an additional fee) and most importantly, Gumbet beach is 150 meters away and all Gumbet establishments are within walking distance. The location of this hotel is perfect!!! Very convenient transportation throughout the peninsula, we traveled half of the peninsula and visited different areas, beaches and coves. I must say right away: we have been to all the beaches of the center of Bodrum, Gumbet, Bitez, Ortakent, Akyarlara and Gyumyushlyuk, of which I do not advise you to waste time swimming on the beaches of the center of Bodrum - nothing special, the beaches of Gumbet are normal, if you walk along the shore further from the hotel, there are very good beaches with sun beds under the trees, Bitez is very beautiful bay and beach, clear water, more beautiful than in the center of Bodrum and Gumbet. The most beautiful beaches (besides having a blue flag) are: 1. Ortakent is a very picturesque bay, clear water and the beach, and the area itself is very beautiful, it's a pleasure to walk; 2. Gyumyushlyuk is a very beautiful village (the former territory of the ancient city), an unrealistically beautiful area, there are the most beautiful restaurants and cafes, and the price tag is certainly appropriate (a delicious dinner for two will cost about 12 thousand rubles).; 3. AKYARLAR (Karainchir Beach) - sandy beach and bottom, clear sea. Bodrum is not a cheap resort, it took us 70 thousand for 7 days for two of us (for lunches and dinners in cafes and restaurants, traveling by dolmach on the peninsula), since the hotel was only with breakfast, BUT IT'S WORTH IT. The food in restaurants and cafes is very tasty, the main thing is to know what you order, the menu is more common in Turkish. At the end of the vacation, our cool Turkish cuisine restaurant in the center of Bodrum, very tasty food and not at all expensive, it's a pity that we didn't have it in the early days, called Meet Cafe Helis, located at the very end of the main street of Bodrum (at the very end of the embankment at the exit from Bodrum Bay on the way to Gumbet Bay). If you want to save a little on lunches and dinners, you can sometimes eat at this cafe, since in other places the price tag really bites, and the dishes are not always delicious. As a result, the trip to Bodrum turned out to be fascinating, this is exactly the resort where you can combine walks through very beautiful and interesting places in various areas of Bodrum, as well as the city itself and a lazy beach holiday! We visited this hotel in September 2024. The room was a two-room room for two, the renovation was fresh, the room was really cool, good breakfasts, there is a coffee machine with excellent coffee, a nice pool, a bay with a beach 200 meters from the hotel, a bus stop right at the exit of the hotel, convenient location of the hotel - you can walk to the city of Bodrum in 20 minutes if you suddenly go on a spree in Bodrum, you can also walk back to the hotel at night, but only uphill, a little longer and harder, but generally normal, we traveled from the hotel to Bodrum by bus, and back by night on foot. Gumbet Bay itself is very lively, there are many bars, clubs and cafes, but still the city of Bodrum is more beautiful and interesting.
