Hotel is great, rooms are great. The only thing is food in Signagi is much more better than in the hotel. Hotel breakfast is good though

We have been to this hotel twice, and unfortunately, the impressions turned out to be as different as possible. The first time we came for the New Year was in 2026, we took a standard with a view of the mountains — then everything was just perfect. Since it is impossible to drive up to the hotel itself to unload, we were met in the parking lot, our luggage was picked up, and we were taken to our room, everything was very attentive and caring. We were absolutely delighted. That's why we decided to come back here in May to celebrate our wedding. We took a suite with a balcony and a view of the city. And then, unfortunately, the service turned out to be completely different. Apparently, the young man at the barrier was either new or did not understand English well. We arrived at the parking lot and just waited 10 minutes for the luggage car, but no one arrived. As a result, they went to the reception in a suit and a wedding dress, thinking that maybe all the cars were occupied. Then there was the deposit situation. We asked to keep it in dollars, because there were holidays and banks in Sighnaghi were not working. At first, the girl at the reception said for a long time that this was not allowed, although last time we did exactly the same thing for the same reason. Then another employee came up and said that it was still possible. At that moment, it looked very strange and uncoordinated. But the most frustrating thing was returning the evening after the wedding. I specifically sent a request in Georgian through a translator to call our car to the parking lot for our luggage, but the young man on guard just didn't want to even look at his phone. My husband asked him in English, he nodded as if he understood, but in the end nothing happened, and we stood and waited by the car again. Everything started to move forward only after a Russian-speaking girl came up to us. I explained the situation to her, she translated all the guards into Georgian, and only after that they finally helped us with our luggage. And that's probably why the situation left such an unpleasant aftertaste. All of this was happening on a very important day for us, and it was sad to encounter such an unstable service after our first great experience. At the same time, I would like to note that the breakfasts here are still excellent. A large selection of food and drinks, everything is very tasty and really at a high level. I really want the hotel to pay attention to the quality of service and communication between the staff, because the place is really beautiful and with great potential. P.S. If you want a really beautiful view, take rooms with a view of the city. There are mountains, the city itself, and the atmosphere is much more pleasant. And what is called a "mountain view" is actually more like hills. 😉

A lot of emotions, I'll try to tell you briefly. The hotel is in a good location, the panorama is gorgeous. The nature is magical: quiet, birds are singing, you can see the city of Sighnaghi from the balcony of the room. We arrived at lunchtime. At the reception, the guy quickly told us about the hotel, gave us a card in which he did not even write down our number, but dictated the numbers of the room service call. Belboy radioed in to get our suitcases to the right place... Since we were hungry, we immediately went to the Georgian restaurant Aura for lunch. To begin with, the menu is strange...It's small...there are few Georgian dishes on the list. And the ones we ordered: salmon with lemon and veal with pomegranate sauce -the trouble is, not the dishes, they cook better in the bistro. And their appearance was deplorable, I do not recommend it. As a compliment, they brought lavash with butter from the cook, the butter was magical. The pomegranate sauce was also a success. I must say right away that we were the only customers at that hour, the waitress quickly lost interest in us and disappeared. We couldn't wait for her on the terrace. Then we went down to the spa for a massage and into the pool. There are no questions about them - everything turned out well, good massage, sauna, we expected outdoor pools to warm up at this time of the year, but alas, miracles did not happen there either. I remind you that the Bodbe Spa Hotel calls itself 5*. For dinner, we went to a restaurant on the 4th floor of the building- Lagaza. I'll say it ahead of time- well done, only the chefs, the dishes were delicious, hearty, and the portions were good. For a long time we tried to find out information about the wines from the waiter. He obviously didn't understand. He walked away, came up, tried to offer us Prosecco in glasses on the bar, which was NOT on the menu. They asked the price of prosecco several times and why it was not on the menu, the waiter pretended that he did not understand the question and evaded the answer. As a result, the administrator of the hall brought us a bottle of wine, poured it on the table while he was pouring, left, did not return, did not put it away, just went nowhere. We refilled ourselves, the waiters just walked by and tried not to make eye contact. Perhaps they were not told that they work in a 5* hotel and that they should behave differently. The dishes were cleaned sluggishly, napkins had to be asked (however, as at lunch) , breakfast left the coolest emotions. However, it was excellent, delicious, varied, the service was great, the only thing that made me laugh was the problem with the coffee machines: the cappuccino did not want to pour itself, the hall administrator helped. But the staff at breakfast in Aura and at lunch are two opposites. I would like to wish the hotel to justify its high price tag with the quality of service, everyone wants to have money, but not everyone can earn it honestly!!!
