The bathroom is a shower room, and it's just a waste. It's not possible to wash in it, because if you go in dirty, there's a good chance you'll come out even dirtier. There were also problems with water on the first day, we searched for hot water for a long time with the hotel staff, the rest of the days were better, but also intermittently. The toilet is a separate kind of art, as if it hadn't been washed for a couple of years, it was all yellow and the rim and the toilet itself and everything around (why do I say that it wasn't washed, because with two movements of a sponge with soap, I cleaned the rim almost to perfection), there was a lot of dust on the sink, as well as on the floors in The whole The room itself, well, I've already said about the old things, a couple of sockets were still working, and those with power surges in the hotel broke all the charges, they just burned out. Bed linen is generally a separate conversation, when we stopped by, there was a question about whether it had been changed after the previous tenants. The refrigerator didn't work in some rooms, it worked in ours and it smelled very bad) there was an indescribable fragrance, in general, the floors in the room are sooo dirty, you can safely walk in street slippers, they are much cleaner. I do not recommend choosing this hotel. Everything needs to be demolished and rebuilt. It's not 3 stars, but 1, and that's a stretch. Everything is dirty, tired, and there are always problems with electricity. The rooms are not cleaned, linen and towels are not changed. They just take a dirty mop and spread the years-old dirt around the room. Our company had to clean up everything themselves, because it was unbearable to be there. The bed linen is dirty and old, the food for breakfast is disgusting. Of all that you can eat there, it's a scramble, of which there are a couple of tablespoons. The pools need to be filled with concrete and new ones dug nearby, the water there has not changed since the last tsunami in 2004, and apparently the garbage has remained there since then. The shore and the beach are just for a beautiful picture, you need to go to a normal beach in Bentota for about an hour. There is a busy railway in front of the hotel, and there are many stray dogs and cats with fleas near the hotel and on the beach. It is impossible to swim near the hotel due to strong waves and strong currents. Photos of this hotel are on all resources, at least ten years old, which were taken immediately after construction. In the photo to the review, you can see the condition of the bed linen, as well as the cleanliness of cleaning before checking in. I repeat, we washed all 3 rooms on our own to make it pleasant to be there, bought cleaning products at the local supermarket, cleaned toilets and showers. I strongly recommend not staying here, and if you are still here, then take it without breakfast (but the photo to the review shows the portions - it's for the whole hotel and everything tastes disgusting, but I like Sri Lankan cuisine itself), there is nothing worthwhile and edible here, it's better to buy donuts for breakfast in kells.
