If you are looking for peace and quiet, then you need to come here. The clearest sea and beach. It's not crowded. But at the same time the central center. All the sights are within walking distance. The Anakopian fortress and waterfall are fabulously beautiful both during the day and in the evening. Caves. And all this side by side. The cozy terrace has become an important part of our vacation. Views that cannot be conveyed in words. And the sound of the sea, which envelops and lulls. There are many shops, cafes, canteens. About the houses themselves: cozy, clean, warm. Light and water without interruptions. The location deserves special attention. Imagine that in the morning you open your eyes and through the panoramic window you see the sea in the courtyard. We were also lucky enough to see a dolphin. The views are fabulous. I thought that next time I would definitely come with sap. About the administration: special thanks to the caring host. He will always help, advise, and prompt. A very pleasant, positive person. And now about prejudices and stereotypes. The locals are kind and hospitable. Guests from the neighboring country are treated kindly. The food, wherever we went, was very tasty. Be sure to find a pastry shop with a pie on the doorstep, where a woman bakes and sells very tasty desserts. The prices in cafes are the same as at home in Kursk. We were traveling together with a friend in our car. There were no problems with this. Traffic cops, contrary to myths, are normal and adequate. They don't steal cars here, it's just a story. The male part of the population is friendly and tactful (and not what scares us) In general, New Athos has left exceptionally wonderful impressions, as well as from its inhabitants. The city is very beautiful. Nature is gorgeous. If you're still in doubt, don't hesitate. Abkhazia is beautiful. And remember that later in the day, dogs are more arrogant and flock together. That's probably the only thing that scared me. But even here, the locals passing by helped out.

We stayed at the cottage from November 4-7, 2025, a very atmospheric place, silence, peace, thanks to the staff for their hospitality, answered all your questions, Angela the maid and Faris the night security (I apologize if I misspelled the name), very nice and helpful. The cabins are perfectly clean, the linen is clean, new, everything you need for a comfortable stay is there, towels, hairdryer, soap accessories, toilet paper, shower, toilet, air conditioning, TV, double bed with a decent mattress, sofa, hangers, lamps, hangers, excellent curtains!!! Mini kitchen, with all the dishes, tiles, kettle, refrigerator, table, chairs, clothes dryers, everything is thought out!!!!! I definitely recommend this place, thank you, our vacation was a success!
