On January 1, in the evening, we visited the Bistecca restaurant in the City Mall — me, my husband and our little son. Although we are not regular guests, we have known this place for a long time (since the days when it was located next to Befit) and usually enjoy lunch/dinner there. The quality of the food has always been at a high level. However, unfortunately, I can't say the same about the service this time. I understand that it was crowded that evening and there probably wasn't enough staff. However, from the very beginning, no one met us — we found a table on our own, after which we asked the manager to transfer us to a more spacious table, since it would be more convenient with a small child. The manager refused, saying that all the other tables were reserved. After we took our order, I noticed that the waiter was cleaning a larger table. I quickly explained the situation, and he agreed to transfer us. However, the table was not wiped or prepared. The waiter brought a kettle with cups, and I politely asked him to wipe the table. He nodded and hurried over to the other guests—it was obvious that he was also serving several tables. To make him feel more comfortable, I stood up and waited. After a while, I went to the counter and asked the manager and the waiter to give me a napkin so I could wipe the table myself. The answer I received was both unexpected and unpleasant: "isterika qimen." It seemed that we were not considered "worthy" enough of good service. The situation was awkward and extremely frustrating. Despite this, we liked the food as a whole, although the ordered salad was not served. After dinner, we went down to Cucucina to eat ice cream. Unlike in your establishment, we were warmly welcomed there, escorted to a table and politely asked to wait a bit, as the table had not yet been cleared. Moreover, when we announced that we wanted to order ice cream, we were even offered to try several flavors to choose the right one. I am sure that the ice cream you serve is much better than at Cucucina, but the atmosphere in your establishment that evening was rather tense and unfriendly.

We were in the evening, ordered the dish "Sweet Chili Chicken".The dish is simply disgusting, the meat is greasy, with an unsightly white skin, which causes rejection in appearance, indicating the low professionalism of the cook.The waiter offered to replace it with a salad, but the dish was included anyway.… It's not a Bistecca, it's a culinary cripple.The incompetent management and level of service definitely put this eatery among the worst public catering places in Tashkent.
